Hi April Fools. Has been a long hard summer & not a sober one. I've a week sober now & so glad for that. Reminding song myself everyday of all I have to lose & how much I have to be grateful for. Finding encouragement on this forum & think of you all often

Hi all.....
If any of you guys are still around..... I've hit trouble trying to include drinking again...
I'd like to share the stories and get some help.....
I lost my job today, for failing to manage my anger....
Just a temporary job at at a violent secondary school, but non the less...
I've been drinking cans, bottles, hiding drinks, and starting to BS everyone to get around it....
Once again, It's going to bring me down....
I write this to you guys to bring to a head the beginning of the end....
And in hope some of you are still around to help!

I have thought about you recently and wondered how you were.
I don't know if any of the others are around much - but even if they are, I really recommend you join the November 18 group.
It sounds like things are getting pretty bad.
I know it's a wrench to have to start over and share your story again but I think it might prove beneficial for you to do just that and be around folks dealing with the same kinds of things.
I think it's time to use both hands in this fight ?

Just thought to pop in here and wish everyone a wonderful holiday season .
I often think of y'all .
Not much happening here except my annual ( and not unexpected ) seasonal anxiety this year-end-stuff seems to bring on .
Had to convince myself last night that ,...sure enough ,...the sun will come up tomorrow , … and hopefully whatever 6 to 10 things that seem so bad r ,...won't seem quite so dang bad tomorrow .
This morning ,... chaulking' it all up as a "growing" experience.
Obo ,...good on ya .. for not giving up brother !!

Sorry to have missed the opportunity to help Obo, I hope things have gone well since your last post.
Topspin, this time of year can be so hard, are you effected by the lack of daylight? I've been thinking about getting a daylight lamp, I've heard they can help those of us in the northern hemisphere?
Dee, I bet you're gazing up at warm blue skies at the moment.....Hope all's well over there.
I have more veg to peel for dinner, to accompany my nut roast. Another sober Christmas, you can't beat it!

Anyone there still?
Hello my Fools, I find myself thinking of you all today, and hoping things are going well. Things have been up and down with me, but mostly pretty stable. The last year and a half of pandemic hell has certainly been challenging, sometimes truly excruciating, it feels kind of like an endless loop of horror, and I hope you are all getting through it ok.
