Those first few weeks are the worst. Resolve to make that the last time you have to endure it..
The world cup has begun....nothing but football for the next 4 weeks....how will I cope? I'll probably be doing a lot more gardening, even when it's raining!
I'm definitely in for the Bargain.

Just counted.....not quite 30 days....25 today I think& yes, reviewing what the last few weeks were like & how hard it was to stop.....don’t ever want to do that again!
Working until about 7:00 tonight....on my own hosting a wine social with harp music. Should only be about an hour long.

Our State is on Fire, something I’ve never seen in my life growing up here & my Son has been out amongst it for 20 straight days. Says he loves it while his Mom is Falls apart. Look up Southern Oregon Wildfires 2018

Things ok here too. Still looking for the right job. Ive been thinking about the tip....or some council roadwork stuff. Miss all of you guys and often think about the years we all went through.....

Thanks for checking in Obo ,....and with encouraging news about the job prospects !
Was blessed to be with my Mom at the Georgia hospital when she passed last Monday evening .
In occasional moments of reflection …. feel such gratitude for everything sobriety makes possible these last few months.

Tops, I'm so sorry not to have read your post earlier......you and your family are in my thoughts, and prayers. I totally understand your reflective mood, it's a year ago that my own Mum passed away, and I still feel close to her. I don't think death separates us as much as science would have us believe. But it must feel very raw for you at the moment, and I hope you're able to give yourself some time for things to settle. X

Yes, I'm really well thank you. Just in the process of packing for a two week holiday in Croatia!
My job is still going well - I'm so thankful I was able to make that job change last December - it was a good move for me, much less stressful.
I can't believe that I'm journeying through my 5th year of sobriety! Who'd of thought that was possible?
I hope life is good for you too Dee...are you looking forward to Summer down there?

Doing OK here......had a text from Son this am that said....I miss you Mama
weather finally cooler this week so should allow active fires here in Oregon to be contained......we are not far from the Delta fire in California....have family near there too & will just be so darn glad to see the rains come!
