I hope you're feeling better. I hope you're taking good care. There is that flu pandemic. I woke up feeling not so great, headache, yucky, this too shall pass, maybe I'll lose a couple of pounds too!

Yesterday was a good day bike riding with my granddaughter Meli . Them dinner
Them see my money go away into my minivan .
The woman at the bank who is helping me with my financial problems apart from that she have a lot of insight wisdom for me is like we were mean to meet
last year I cancel that appointment 4 times she told me it was because she wasn’t ready for what is supposed to teach wasn’t my time to learn, she knows my history with addiction and that’s why I’m fixing my finances.
Ok I know boring let’s get to the point 24 more for this grateful alcoholic soul.
Safety
One of the long-term effects of living in a dysfunctional family - as children or adults - is that we don't feel safe.
Much of what we call codependency happens because we don't feel safe in relationships. This can cause us to control, obsess, or focus on the other person, while neglecting ourselves or shutting down our feelings.
We can learn to make ourselves feel safe and comfortable, as part of a nurturing, loving attitude toward ourselves.
Often, we get a feeling of safety and comfort when we attend Twelve Step meetings or support groups. Being with a friend or doing something nice for ourselves helps us feel protected and loved. Sometimes, reaching out to another person helps us feel safe. Prayer and meditation help us affirm that our Higher Power cares for us.
We are safe now. We can relax. Perhaps others haven't been there for us in a consistent, trustworthy way, but we are learning to be there for ourselves.
Today, I will concentrate on making myself feel safe and comfortable.

How is your headache today? I hope you feel better.
I woke up with one and just took some Excedrin, hope it goes away! At least it's not from drinking.

I am almost skinny again now, so I am somewhat pleased....and definitely fine today....I hope you don't get sick sweety...and I hope the headache passes. Orange juice, coffee and and a little sunshine maybe?
