Pelagic I'll be growing some cayenne peppers in containers this year. I've got a garden area but it's against the rules to grow veggies! Just flowers!!! Can't eat a flower.

The farmers market here only sells the same crappy peppers you get at the grocery! All the goody is bread out of 'em. Not hot at all.

Hey everyone!

Late start today. Today is the anniversary of when I put on a white dress, veil and marched down the aisle towards a slow painful death forever attached to a ball and chain 😂😂😂

I made my favorite breakfast of biscuits and gravy and now I’m feeling fat and happy laying on the couch. I may not move until dinner. I’m making us steak and lobster.....well at least that’s the plan. No babysitter so we are staying in.

(((HUGS))) Purps dust yourself off and get back on the horse.

Have a great day!

Kind of quiet here today - but that seems to happen on the weekends. Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday (is it Sunday yet in Australia?).

Gettin ready to grill up a little chicken and some zucchini.

Hope you are having a better day, Purps

Sunday, 1217 in S/Aust. 2.5 hours later than the West and 30 minutes behind the East.
I went to a 1000 Sunday meeting. Not feeling the vibes today. The guy behind me was a very loud, every minute sniffer. One guy got up and shared he is at Uni and tried using technomoligcal words to impress ('hyper arousal' being one). He almost had the terminology right, but not quite.
One young lady I know from my recovery-p shared that one time, when she was in blackout from d&a, her chemically altered friends decided the best way to wake her up was to taser her. Idiots.

Neighbours..HA!

I asked my neigh. (the one with the plastic drink bottles full of water pickrt fence around her front garden) recently if I could buy a small stack of bricks in her backyard (all gravel). About 50. She sai she would give them to me because we are n-bours. 2nd check in- she said 'how many'..and suggested I make stepping stones instead of a path. Third and final time she said I 'could have a few'.
So I found my own. Between her bottles and my little garden is dirt- thus dusty.
I moved, what I thought was slate..that had been left here and there out the back-more for effect in the garden beds. Nope- off cuts of black marble..the sort the godfather would have as a tomb stone. I know this because one surface on each piece is polished. I put it down, using a rough side- shiny equals slips in wet weather.. Now I need to go second hand brick hurting...about another 100 needed for me to be happy with the path.not the cream brick..the old earthy ochre-red sort.

So it appears we both have a lot of gardening work ahead of us PJ.....I, err, may have bought a tad too many plants and more are arriving and I need to re-do the gardens front and back. But it's freezing. Stupid. Come on Spring.

PJ, you can have all the bricks you want from my yard. I can't put a shovel in the ground without hitting a brick or a rock or a slab of old concrete. It's ridiculous.

I kid you not, I dug up half a tombstone. Someone who died Feb. 4, 1863, aged 29 years. I'm sure the other half is out there with the name on it but I haven't hit it yet. I've wanted to dig into the records to find out who it was though. It's beautifully carved and we keep it on the back porch. RIP. Memento mori.

Someone told me this used to be a graveyard, but they moved it. Weird stuff for sure. But have a good day everyone! Busy day for me, which is good.

Good Sunday morning Marcheros.

Many crazy dreams last night. I feel exhausted from them!!

Pelagic, that would seriously creep me out, but it is very cool just the same.

I finally looked at the world clock map. For some reason I thought Australia was roughly a 12 difference from me, but I guess it’s more like 18 hours (depending on where exactly in Australia one is). Good to know.

Enjoy the day everyone. Startin fluid coming up

Good morning everyone!

I had the BEST nights sleep. Who knew a pillow could make so much difference. I got the “my pillow” the one on TV. I often wake up with a headache coming from my neck so I had been wondering about those but that’s one heck of a pice tag for a pillow. They had a rep selling them at Costco yesterday. You can return anything to Costco so we decided to try them. I think I’m in love 😉

Time for startin fluid! Have a great day everyone!

Fuuuuuudge! I just realized Easter is a week from today. That one totally snuck up on me!!! I need to shop for baskets (which I have to make because of food allergies), Easter bunny pictures and I actually have to cook Easter dinner for the 1st time in 10+ years. My husband always worked on Sundays so I never bothered but now he’s off on Sundays. Well 💩
