Good Morning Friends, Happy Thanksgiving Week for those who celebrate this week.

Short work week for me, I have Wednesday - Sunday off work for the holidays. Hoping to get some shopping done for Christmas (first year this bachelor doesn't wait until the week of Christmas, thank you sobriety!).

Oh, btw, I wanted to share my positive experience from the weekend. I can't believe I didn't even think about it when I posted before.

I was sitting in bed Saturday night and the most bizarre thing happened....

I realized I hadn't had an alcohol craving OR thought all day. Usually, all weekend, I fight those cravings off. This past weekend, it didn't cross my mind once until I realized it hadn't crossed my mind once.

I was so happy, and at a sort of peace, because I didn't think I'd ever adjust mentally in this transformation. For everyone that is struggling, you really DO need to be patient, as I was as skeptical about it as you can be. But as my mind and body heals, it's actually WORKING. Everything that everybody has hold me here has been true. So much knowledge and experience.

Today marks 9 weeks for me, I'm seeing a doctor this afternoon, and preparing to push through the holidays.
