Hey overs!

Toots,
I'm with you on acknowledging folks invisible to others.
My SH learned ASL when we were first assigned to Germany and had to live in a hotel suite with no driver licenses. So the wives took the shuttle to the Base to shop for groceries. While waiting another spousal unit wrote her a note to ask when the shuttle came. They became buddies and her husband and I became friends. So they both translated for me and she used to get so mad because I only knew the nasty words and was not interested in learning ASL because there were millions of folks there speaking German, and I was learning German. My SH was fluent within six months. I liked when they got angry because then it looked like Kung Foo signing.

FBL,
Glad Fran's home finally.
To stop and help stranded motorists surprises folks I bet.

Sassy glad you liked them! Poets of the world unite.

IP,
Sounds like a good plan.

Andy,
So glad she hung in there. Will she then find out then if she is clear? My hat's of to her. My friend from college had Hodgkins lymphoma and almost quit at four of five sessions. He lost his hair so I shaved mine in solidarity. Not a good look for me

FG,
I'd been waiting to invest in Tesla since 2003 and they didn't go public until 2010, two years after they produced their first model, the Roadster. We sold about 18% of our shares and took back our initial investment and a 20% profit just as they went over $100. With our money and a profit off the table we are playing with house money. That is why we sold some, it is not a gain or loss until you sell. We are long until Musk takes Space X public, his privately held rocket company.

PJ,
Glad you feel good again. I don't get headaches at all, and don't want them.

I agree Suze, it is good to see the other Dee all over.

I have to serve as a panel member at a conference focused on homeless veterans, the causes and solutions.

Night all

Conratulations to Mrs Amazing, and to you all Andy. I hope it has done the trick. Am sending positive thoughts your way.

Glad you're feeling better Peej, I get very occasional migraines and know how hellish they are.

Hugs to everyone x

Good morning Overs.

Thank you for all the good wishes for Mrs Terrific. She will have a CAT scan on the 27th of Nov. and get the results on the 15th of Dec. Yesterday one of the hospital volunteers persuaded her to go for a 'pamper' session in March. It's really for ladies who have lost a lot of hair or who think they are no longer attractive, Mrs T is a little thin on top but far from bald. She knows I think she is gorgeous, I said she should go and have some fun.

Have a good day everyone.

Andy, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Mrs Terrific and the younger Terrifics as she gets through her last round of chemo and the docs check the results

PJ, I even hate the word migraine. I had really bad ones way too often in my teens. Then they became less frequent and I haven’t had any for years now. Sending gentle hugs your way!

Have a soothing Saturday to all!

Andy, best wishes for you and Mrs. T!

Busy Saturday ahead. I'm going to have to put in extra work in order to get my project done on time. Still so much to do yet. I'm going to try to fit in a haircut and a trip to the post office sometime today. Mom called and already has a list of places she wants me to take her this coming Wednesday. My brother is headed out deer hunting this morning on the other side of the state. I never got into sitting in the woods trying to kill Bambi. The only part of deer hunting that I enjoyed was going to the bar at night.

Have a Scintillating Saturday, overs!

Andy---I'm so proud of you ---the way you take care of Mrs. T and everyone
is just amazing. When I think of you and your family it just makes me smile. It's people like you that make the world a better place. Hugs.
PJ the only headaches I ever have or had were slight hangovers. and I can't imagine a migraine. Ugh.
Well, just popped in to say Hi !

It seems my 'daches are linked with seasonal hay-f. Last 2 days, rain and no dust about. Interesting morn, did my volunteer bit at the State Museum. An older lady from a particular European country demanded to know why there were no pamphlets printer in her native language...got quite annoyed by it.
Still a migraine 'hangover' today, but made myself do stuff regardless.

Good morning Overs.

Thank you Babs.

PJ, I had several sources of headache. It wasn't until I split them into separate groups that I could work out the causes. One was caused by hay fever making my sinuses 'back up'.

Have a good one everyone.

Got a lot done yesterday. Trying to do more today. Have to get my Sunday morning nature walk in, despite it being 30F with a stiff breeze.

Have a Super Sunday, overs!

FBL---Hey, that's what I need is a good brisk walk. It was 13 degrees here this morning and I need it just a little bit warmer but, really need to get out there and walk. This old body is getting stiff and the fresh air would do me wonders. Thanks for the push.

Interesting that, I used to live in the Mallee as a kid- never saw no fit bulls.
'dache gone! I think it is definitely related to the weather. I think I would not have made a very good cave man.

Morning overs

Andy, love to Mrs Terrific and yourself, you’re both doing great.

PJ, ouch! Migraines! I’m pleased you’re on the mend.

I missed a few days so on catchup.

I hope you’re all ok and have a good Monday

Just remembered

Itchy, I often watch the Ted talks you recommend a while back and saw a particularly good one about dementia and how we can slow the process. Fascinating. We need to Learn something new every day. (I thought doing my normal puzzles, brain training would help, but not the case for this), they did a study over 20 years with nuns and the results were surprising.

Good morning Overs.

The hospital pharmacy have to make up Mrs T's chemo so we will have a slightly later start.
I knew this treatment was going to be tiring for Mrs T but we will both be glad when it is over.

Have a marvellous Monday everyone.
