CHUCKING a wob, not checking one.

Andy , all the best wishes and love to you and your wife, Mrs Terrific, one more to go.:

Inpar, a big nice warm hole, enveloping and warming you, keeping you safe.

I’m thinking of going away for a couple of nights next weekend, yeah I’ll take hubby. Lol. I feel the need for the sea air on me, Whitby is looking favourited at the moment. I’ll ask him when he gets up or better still, send him an email at work. He’s not a morning person.

Have a good Tuesday , it was bitterly cold here yesterday. Then again I keep forgetting it’s winter.

I too am not a morning person I need a specific dose of caffeine beige I am able to consider socialising. Fortunately for hubby's continuing existence, he understands this and gives me peace until I am fit to speak to!

Andy, although I don't mention it, I do think of Mrs T every time I read a post of yours, I'm glad she has only one more dose left to suffer through.

Peej, I thing the Brits and Aussies have a lot of verbal idiosyncrasies in common, probably because we sent yous all over there in the first place! Also now some of your soaps have crossed the seas, some of the more modern or Aussie specific ones have become known.
And for some reason, younger Brits began finishing a sentence on a question? Regardless of it it was a question? !!

I woke today in Spain feeling a little chilly, it's 11C here. Thursday when I wake in Cambridgeshire it will be around 7C but as my folks have the heating full blast it will feel about 19C. Saturday I will wake in my own home for the first time in two weeks. It will be around 3C . I will be cold. Very cold.

Good morning Overs.

Thank you for all the good wishes for Mrs T. She is currently telling our DDs a funny holiday story from when she was 4yo. To cut it very short her parents had packed the passports in their suitcase. The immigration officer solved the problem by asking Miss T 'Who is this man?' to which she replied, 'Daddy.' That was enough to get them on to the plane. Different days.

Have a good one everyone.

Andy, please give Mrs Terrific a big hug from me!

Chucking a wobbly - now there is a phrase I will definitely find a use for

I said it was warm yesterday, so of course this morning it is brrrr cold

Have a good Tuesday!

Because of my upbringing, I have the ability to break into a Philadelphia accent at any time with a particular Eastern European coarseness.

“What’re you doin’? Chuckin’ a wobbly?”

I can see this new expression bringing me a lot of satisfaction in years to come!

Toots, I just want to say thank you—your chatty posts never fail to make me smile, and your serious posts are empathetic and full of sound recommendations. Just wanted to say that!

Andy, best to you and Mrs. T.

Sassy, congrats on 3 & 3 today! Told you I'd send some cold air your way.

No wobs being chucked here today. But I might've seen a Womble this morning.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, overs!

Congratulations sassy!

Toots, it gets my goat, people speaking with a question mark when it’s not even a question!

Andy, its hard to believe how times have changed, thinking of Mrs Terrific’s experience at the airport.

Toots, do you ever wake up and wonder where you are?

Gilmer, I can turn on the Yorkshire accent, tha’sees.
It’s raining here overs.

Oh...toots.....love.....

I would have lost my coffee but my cup was empty as I was trying to take a sip, and well, lucky, because that is seriously funny!

And....isn't it good for me (for Nick) that he also understands that his wife requires at least one gulp of coffee before conversations will begin. Ha!

And ha ha re 'strain/verbal idiosyncrasies.....honestly, Aussies were glad to palm Neighbours off onto you lot...it was good in the beginning, but lordy, how many years of Ramsay Street can a teddy bear?

Love to you and Mr toots.

That's right Suze. oh Lord Howe! We'd rather watch how Alice springs see Victor harbouring happy thoughts and teach Isa some manners.

I don't mean to change the subject but, I am really tripping out with this sobriety thing! I can't believe how awesome it is! Sometimes I feel so good I could just explode! Sometimes I start stressing over small things and I see it happening and I can stop it dead in its tracks by just thinking about how great it is to just be alive and sober! Anyway, thank you all for being here today and every day!

Hey all,
Life is good, denture appointments all week, the Ram diesel had an airbag replacement recall, son still here and wearing me out doing all the chores that took a back burner. I am comfortable in my sobriety but remember the joi d vivre (sp.) of having just six months sober when one morning of not drinking had been unachievable. It is nice to vicariously feel the thrill of living well.

I agree about Toots and Suze - all of you really.

It has been mid 80s until tonight. Now it is only cool at 61. Rain tomorrow, I hope it comes a gully washer. Spent two full days with Microsoft telephone support with remote control but we exterminated all the bugs. Now perfect again. I also had my Moto Z Play phone fail and got it replaced last Thursday. The one year warranty runs out on 24 November - just made it. That took a day to get all my Apps and settings right again. I'm cross eyed from scree reading and next week trying a contact lens again to see if I want the extra surgery. I'm not impressed with the right eye Lasik over the cataract lenses. The left is more stable with just the cataract lenses.

Andy, I hope he last round of chemo does the trick. Yes we do live in a different world.

Mags hang in there, the beach sounds a sound idea.

FBL, glad for Fran and your project.

Hey Gil!

Pj,
"Now this, is a knife!"

If I missed anyone it's because I have to get up, stretch, and hit the rack.

Night all!

Morning overs

Tomis, you’re right, it’s great to be sober. There’s lots of different topics going on at once here but our main concern is our sobriety and staying sober. Which, in turn gives us a good life.

Itchy, your son sounds just like you, gets stuck in, a grafter. say hi.

I’ve booked a weekend in Whitby from the 24th. Overlooking the sea, in a cottage. Have I told you yet I love the sea and beach..
It’s not for long but it may blow away a few cobwebs that are collecting around myself and hubby. Looking forward to it actually.

Have a good Wednesday overs, love to you all.
