Thanks guys - still haven't found a med without side effects but the difference between me on meds and off is growing less and less.

I've lost 10 kgs and hope to lose at least another 10 - I don't want to lose too much cos I think a little padding helps with falls LOL

it would be good to solve the hypertension problem in a natural way

Leshar I'm sure Larry would tell you to do whats best for you and that whatever you do with the bottle he knows you love him very much

Glad to hear it, Dee.

I used to have hypertension and took medicine for it, but when I lost weight my blood pressure dropped significantly and I stopped needing it.

Now my blood pressure typically runs 120/70.

Julyers

Massive hugs and prayers for our Suze.

Leshar, sounds a great idea. It is a long drive but you could take a picnic with you or have lunch on your journey? Whatever you decide, let it be enjoyable experience for you.
On your 60 th birthday in December, Or how about taking your husbands wine on your 60 th with a special picnic, giving him the wine and enjoying your special picnic . Or is that not appropriate.x
The radiator is part of the French doors project, it's in the way! Humph!

Dee, I've gotta use that! 'A little padding helps with falls' mwaaahhhh,

Hugs and prayers to all Julyiers,

Hugs to you Suze xx

Shaun's oncologist said that they found a large node on his chest that needs investigating so he has to go in for yet another chest X-ray tomorrow. He also has one next to his windpipe and one near his heart.

He is not going to do the biopsy again as the other 3 failed. They will either use a procedure where a tube goes up his nose with a camera or a more invasive one if that doesn't work.

Omg this is exhausting. Just when we are starting to think it can't be as bad as we were thinking , we get hit with this. I feel sick. So does Shaun , the P.E.T scan is very accurate.

The oncologist said, right...we are going full throttle til we find out what is going on here. He still believes its lymphoma but the other findings have thrown a cat amongst the pigeons.

Well he's right, he's made the apt for tomorrow and then again the day after that to see him.

Shaun's just left for his night shift , he's very quiet, I told him not to worry & he said how can I not when I see you this worried for the first time.

It's hard to hold your emotions in when you get hit left, right and centre.

Hopefully it's not as bad as I'm imagining .

We will be ok, I feel better putting it out here and getting it off my chest, so thanks for being here everyone and I'm sorry to put up non so happy posts at times.

Love you all xxx

Thanks Dee & Mags. I'm calmer now. It is what it is.

The best I can do is just be there for Shaun. It's the first time I've actually seen him in fear over all this. So it got to me a bit.

It's really, really cold here in Adelaide today. I'm having an early night. All the 4 cats and one Italian greyhound snuggled up on my bed :doggy
Bless their little cotton sox

Think I'll play some scrabble, words with friends and a bit o utubing .

I'm enjoying a lot of Simon & Garfunkle at the moment.

I didn't realise they broke up after " bridge over troubled waters "

Found that out today.

I love good music , it's so good for the soul. I can't imagine my life without it. I always have something on. Especially when I'm cleaning

Hi all, wrote a long post and lost it, argh! Don't have time to retype as I have an exterminator coming, horrible ant problem, and then need to head to work. Still sober, just getting through one day at a time.

Snooz, I am thinking of you and Shaun and praying for the best.

Leshar, I like the idea of pouring the wine by the grave. I also admire your taking the high moral ground with your friend.

Bob, thinking of you.

Dee, hope you feel better soon. You are a rock.

Gilmer, Leigh, Croiss, Mags, Croutie, Suze, hope all is well. Ladybug where are you?

Sorry if I forgot anyone, not intentional, in a rush. Always thinking of you all and wishing you the best.

Hi all,
Dee, I really hope you feel better soon. Don't lose too much weight! Thanks for your kind words.

Snoozy, oh my, such a lot to cope with. You sound like you're handling it admirably.

Lulu, I'm so glad you are doing well, please stay close. I too wonder about Ladybug.

Mags, I went to the cemetery on my 50th, knee deep in snow! At that time I was still drinking. Had a mini bottle of champagne by the grave. I wouldn't do that again, not the booze, nor going on my birthday in December! The highway is notoriously treacherous. A blinding snowstorm and I couldn't get up the hill to my B and B, so I ended up staying in a motel that was yucky, reminded me of Bates
Motel!! I'm thinking of going to Mexico for my birthday, somewhere warm.
I hope your Reno project goes well!

Suze, much love to you. You are a strong and resilient person, but it's ok to cry when you need to.

Love to all our Julyers.

Hi Leshar, I wasn't sure of the weather in December where you are, so bad idea with snow on the ground, and for driving! Mexico sounds good.

My plumber didn't arrive!. I text after 2 hours late and his wife says he's in hospital, hoping to come out today.

Love to Snoozy and Shaun

Love to Suze,

Thinking of you all and the trials and tribulations that life keeps throwing at us. And praying that we all come through the other side.
