Morning!!
Well three days left of vacation and by all accounts I am ready to go back to work. (Remind me I said that at around 1pm Monday afternoon..lol.) The one bonus of work (besides pay) is that it keeps me busy enough that I don't have those afternoon bouts of f-it's (usually anyways)
Plan for today is some meal planning, groceries, therapy and the gym....so nothing exciting.
PJ - sounds like a good meeting - topics I am working on too ❤
Well off to start the day...love you guys.

Ugh! Arizona lost last night. Honestly, after watching Kansas last night I think they are gonna win it all! My husband has them winning. They are crazy good!

Morning everyone....and good night! Lol, I had to get up super early this morning and stayed up until 1:00 am watching basketball so I'm gonna snooze for another hour. Sleep is vital for me (and so is basketball! Lol!) Anyway....my day is pretty mellow today so that's good! It's my husband's bday but we are celebrating tomorrow with dinner & a professional soccer game (his fav!)

Good morning, good morning, good morning! It is Friday, it is sunny and I am in a good mood!!
I think I'm taking a woman to a mtg tonight. She came to my home group last night. She is 5 months pregnant, doesn't get to see her 3 other kids, homeless (she is staying with a friend right now) and out of treatment on Sunday. She shared last night and I just cried. This disease has such a hold on her. Oh, and did I mention she has 2 degrees?? But for the grace of God.....Counting my blessings today.

Bobbie that is heart breaking. it's good of you to take her to a meeting. I think about the women who took me - back when I couldn't drive and was first going through all of this - all the time.
I think I need to get back to one. I miss those people and I clearly stopped putting effort into recovery.
End of day 7 for me, feeling very grateful to be feeling ok now and to have made it out of that binge before months if not years disappeared. Going to listen to some speaker tapes in bed, have a good day all. Thanks for being here.
