Phoenix - I think you'll find the Overs and Unders are both nice groups. On both pages people treat each other well.
IP - I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the peace and quiet of your new place. Also great to hear you've got a new relationship.
Fbl - Powerful story about your rock bottom. I feel I am fortunate to have another chance after addiction. I had never been one to believe in miracles, either, but I know that coming to after my last drunk was one. And now that I'm sober I see many other ones.
When I think of all the things I "forgot" I'm kind of shocked that it didn't seem all that had to me at the time. That's the insanity of addiction.
Today I took the day off from work just to relax. No appointments or responsibilities or projects today, just relaxing. Ahhhhh. I need to get in the habit of taking purely relaxing days off!

Itchy, it was enjoyable, the grand tour, we can only get 1 episode at a time, too.
I've not watched much of game of thrones, seen the dragons, but I love the music to it.
Fbl, thank you for your frankness on your drinking days. So pleased we've all moved on from those days.

Well just this past two weeks I have seen a priest publicly ask his lady friend who is also a priest (Episcopal, of course, in case some Roman Catholics were raising an eyebrow!) to marry him during Mass and now one on a web forum! I knew Venus was up to something, but did not suspect with who!
21 days sober added on to the approx 1300 I got before I went nuts. Off to my sister's for the holiday weekend. She does not drink so I will be safe there, will just eat too much.
