Hi all, checking in. It's late here and I have a really early morning. I went to a debate watching gathering with coworkers and then caught up with paperwork for work. I'm leaving this assignment for good on Tuesday so am phasing myself out. I'm looking forward to being home but I've also been gone so long now that it will probably be a little weird to not be here, working... all the time. Saw an old friend the other night; I posted about it in Newcomers. Basically I had a great time playing guitar with him, but he and his gf got really drunk and hammered me about my decision to get sober. I handled it really well I thought and left, with them both really sloshed, so grateful to be sober.

Haven't been to AA meetings due to the work schedule and I doubt I will do it at home. There are some people there who I know from work circles who I don't want to be around in that arena. Hard to explain without blowing a lot of anonymity publicly on the internet. But who knows. Anyway I'm doing well, lost track of how many days sober I have... 59- 60 in the morning, but it's after midnight so, 60! 28 spent here, away from home. Yowzers.

I filed a request to fix the app- so often I want to post and can't because of the iOS issue. That's part of why I've been quiet. But I am here, and I am reading most of the time.

Anyway hope all have a good night. I'm turning in.
