Venuscat's thread - An unexpected bump in the road Pt. 2
Suze! Sounds like you might well become addicted to happiness.! Reminds me of my friend who said that he "had more serenity than he could handle!." Overdosed on serenity! In danger of becoming a Buddhist monk.I have heard that some of them became so concerned that they ended up living in caves, wearing hair shirts (to make themselves itch) and eating locusts and honey. Honey is O.K. but I'd take a pass on the locusts.

Wow....talking to SR buddies on the phone now, organising details.....just ridiculously exciting.....and so so lovely to hear finally hear the voices of friend I have loved for so long. ♥
Wonderful, sunny, glorious Venuscat! So happy for you! Just don't overdose on happiness. Newton was right to say that for every reaction there is an opposite reaction. This also was confirmed by those incredible and mysterious Chinese philosophers who spoke of the Yin and the Yang. And the Tao, which is so inscrutable that it can't be spoken or written about.
You should be here in the USA at about election time. Very exciting but also a real cliffhanger, as they say. "Interesting times" again as the Chinese say.
So keep us posted because we want to share vicariously in all your adventures!
Locusts are fried, I believe and maybe served up with a bit of honey. Bon appetit!
Bill.
