Glad you bumped the thread, Gilmer :-)

Trachy, you will do this. It doesn't matter if it's the first time or later. I wish it weren't described as a "failure" because it isn't.

Hi all!

I know I hate it when we fall behind! Things are moving ahead here - the divorce process is slow going and living in the same house is starting to wear on me. Even though we're not fighting it's just draining so I think I found a little townhouse for me and the boys. It's on a pond so lots and lots of fishing for them which is their main requirement. My brother's offered to loan me the downpayment (!!!) so I'm going to try for a loan. I was going to wait until the settlement was complete but that can take a year!

How is everyone else doing- how were your weekends??

Got some errands out of the way today. Thought they'd take 45 minutes; but between long lines and remembering other errands, it stretched into 3 hours.

That's OK. I'll just have to speed up
my relaxation!

My cell phone rings a few minutes before lunch. I look, it's my sister. I'll call her back at lunch.

One of the front office people come walking up, says he needs to talk to me. Very serious look on his face.

Your sister called, said your other sister's had a heart attack.

WHAT? My sister? Are you sure?

Sure enough, nine years younger than me. Been hurting since Friday and finally went to the ER. Straight to the cath lab. Blockage found, stent in place. She's going to be fine, Thank God.

WOW, Trach! What a shock!

I'm glad she is stabilized.

Was the pain intense?

She said it kept building all weekend until she was in tears.

Ladies, pain in your neck and throat are a female specific precursor to heart attack. That's where hers started then moved to her arm and chest. She's an NP and knew this but pushed it back.

And, by the way: Life, I've had all I want lately. Can I have some non-catastrophic time? A little break?

I've always thought of stress as a good thing. It makes us stronger.

Too much stress destroys.
