New to SR Day 3
I'm currently on day 3 and so is my husband!! It will be a tough day for both of us being a Saturday but we have plans for most of the day! Baseball game our kids are playing in, going to library, grocery shopping, and then going to our sober friends' house for a cookout! Woke up
For the first time in years on a Saturday morning feeling great and energized. Feeling optimistic about today.

Awesome job on day 14 ben!!
Welcome gretchen! I've made it to day nine with the help of these lovely people. You've got this!
Start of day nine today and I feel great! Sitting here watching my 7 month old eat (make a giant mess) and catching up on the news. We have a nice sober day planned, going to take the kids to lego land. This has my anxiety through the roof, being around big crowds always does this to me, so I typically run to the nearest beer vendor. Luckily for me, legoland is dry, so I'm breathing instead. Maybe it won't be that busy, fingers crossed.
Everyone enjoy your sober Saturday! I'll check in this evening!

Welcome Gretchen!
No regret indeed. For me the regret came when I did something stupid the night before like embarrass myself or spend way too much money on gambling, booze, drugs, or something else stupid.
I'm feeling great, having some coffee and planning out my day with my kid.

Dark chocolate caramels are better than alcohol lonely wombat. That's what I told myself when I was stuffing my face full of hot dogs last night the fake type that come in a jar and are more like marshmallows than meat.
Im with you all today Let's get through Saturday and then it's gotta be easier from then on : )

16 hours!!!!! You could drive up and down the UK twice in that time and still be back in time for tea.
Haha yes Ben its quite a distance. Going from Colorado to northern Montana almost into Canada. Gonna do 8 hours tonight and 8 tomorrow night. Good news is staying sober for that part will be easy. Once I get there thats another story as theres lots of breweries around.
