Oops, sorry - GERD = Gastro-Esophogeal-Reflux-Disease. .... eg bad heartburn that can scar the esophagus.

Aren't you a hiker and backpacker? No one understands us. We're like Secretariat on a slower scale: we just keep accelerating.

Good morning Marchers

Oh Ken sorry to hear about the rotten day you are having, one comfort is that two hours have passed since you wrote your post so down to four hours to go.

I'm in a happy place because we had twenty seconds of extra daylight today. Have a good one peeps.

Exactly, Trachy. You get it! I could walk a 10k at a pretty good clip and not be tired, but don't make me run it! Lol

The horrible day is over, seeing I have no pot pies at home, I'm going to head out to a place by where I used to live and get a philly cheesesteak. Tomorrow has to be better!

Bud, I am hoping today is rainbows and lollipops for you to overcompensate for yesterday's happenings.

I just found out a friend with whom I raised my two older children with back when they were in kindergarten-1st grade many years ago, went to the doctor with back pain, and was found to have cancer spread throughout her bones. Hospice is being recommended. She is 59 years old... once again, I am reminded of the fragility of life.

Good morning Marchers from a sunny Paradise. 1Day I am so sorry to hear about your friend.

Ken I am glad that long day is over but did you have to send me to Google again? I had to look up what a philly cheesesteak was. You people have me well trained though, when I look up something you mention I ask Google to show me images so that I "get" it straightway.

Sass are you feeling better?

Have a good day everyone.

Yes, Marcher, I am finally beginning to feel better. I finally figured out yesterday that I have both GERD and allergies going on so am now treating both. I hope to be back in fighting trim by the end of the week. Although it's a rotten way to lose weight, I have lost 4-5pounds in the past week.

And I absolutely love Philly cheesesteak when it's the "real" deal :-)
