Class of March 2013 Part 42
Happy 43rd Mrs WeHave!
Marcher enjoy the stretched days, it's affy dark here!
Sass, hope you feel better soon treasure,
Budd, how's things with you?
Thank you all for the congrats, I am really proud of my achievement because it is something I don't really enjoy and had to work hard at and commit to. All things I avoided when I drank.
Trachy you don't look a day over 80 mate. And get the Russian Tortoise and call him Boris, please!

We, usually I'm jealous of whomever gets shotgun, but in this case I'm cheering! Happy day after.
Toots, I truly admire how you approach things now. Being aware and taking action on things that you didn't do before and do now is a great way to reinforce our determination to stay sober!
Happy longer days, Marcher :-)
Although I still feel crummy, I think I've finally figured out what I've got and it's fixable though not instantaneously. I have had GERD for quite a few years. I periodically taper off my meds to see if I can since there are significant downsides to them. I had been doing a very slow taper over the past year and about a month ago had gotten completely off them, successfully I thought. I hadn't noticed the symptoms creeping back. When I started focusing on what was going on about the middle of last week, it finally dawned on me that it was very likely a recurrence. This could take several weeks to fix but at least I know what I need to do. Big relief to at least know what's happening.
Happy Monday or whatever it is

<------ Is having a day that should not be allowed. Not 1 thing has gone right yet! From dog and cat to truck to incompetent human resources and upper management, everything has me angry and stressed.
This day, 3 years ago, would have me ready to drink until I blacked it out permanently.
The one thing is that in only 6 more hours ,it will be over for today!

Toots, congrats on the 5k!!!! So proud of you girl! I'm with you on running, I hate it. I walk as fast as many joggers, does that count? good job!!
Budd, I'm so sorry about your day. I suppose the only bright spot is you will wake up refreshed tomorrow, not hung over and full of dread. Stock up on those pot pies, bro. I hope you at least have a pop tart stashed somewhere....
Sas, I'm not sure what gerd is, besides a likely character on the Drew Carey show, but I'm glad you figured it out and can get better.
