True Detective is on HBO and Netflix and Hulu do not offer for streaming so that's not happening here. I did like Bloodline.

Good morning. Relaxing with my son before he goes to school. We like our quiet time in the mornings. He wakes early so he can sit with a book. Hates to rush off to school. He has done that for about as long as he could hold a book, sit and enjoy the in the mornings.

I have really had some quiet, easy days the past week. Today, I need to do a little shopping. The family needs a few things, and I have the coveted 30% off Kohls coupon! I also have a return to make there.

He is a very sweet, kind child, but can be stubborn too. . But he's a keeper. My daughter is great, too, but oh the drama some days, lol. I would call her resilient and determined. Each could use a bit of the other's gifts. But couldn't we all?

Kohls is a U.S. Department store known for good values when things are on sale. They send monthly coupons you peel off to reveal 15% -30% off. So, getting the 30% is a good thing. Wish I had it last week before getting daughter her new sneakers!

I think both of your kids sound wonderful phoebe. Your daughter's resilience and determination are wonderful qualities. And your son's peaceful nature is a lovely blessing. I think their mum deserves a lot of credit. You work hard. You are an awesome mum.

Hi guys, The cheesy movie marathon continues today. I'm watching The Burbs now. It's kind of nice to be "off the grid" but I'm getting a little stir-crazy. A friend recommended that I try zentangle. Have yall heard of it? It's a form of meditative art, like doodling, but structured.
What is a Zentangle®? « TanglePatterns.com
I'll give it a whirl and see if it's picture worthy.

How's everyone else today?
Big hugs

Hey gang,

As it turns out, now both of my driving kids have gotten speeding tickets in the last two weeks. The court dates are scheduled for when we're in nyc. 21 day license suspension, not to mention the $ involved!

There goes that vessel in my temple again!

This too shall pass....I will not drink I will not drink I will not drink.........

Aw, man. That's gotta be frustrating. But you're right on track, knowing that drinking won't help. You got this.

That sounds maddening, FAD. Do they pay the fines themselves? have I mentioned I signed up my daughter for driver Ed? It is a little frightening.

I will expect them to pay for this. From what I've learned, there is the possibility to go to a driving safety class, write an essay and have a 21 day suspension to avoid this going on their records. I'm making them handle most of this (although I'll check behind them). This approach would also keep my insurance rates intact if I'm understanding all of it.

Feel for ya FAD, stay on them. For those without kids, your insurance rate only goes up a couple hundred percent when they get licensed (without violations or problems) so this is serious business. There is a lesson here in actions and consequences; make the most of it.

Really? Court dates for speeding tickets? And insurance rates go up? Wow.
Never been happier to be an Aussie.

Sorry from. That's not good at all.

Yeah that seems kinda harsh for a speeding ticket. Must be second violation within a short time.

Good news all! Baby boy came today. Mom and baby are very healthy and well! 8 pounds, 8 ounces! What a day! And what relief we have to know all is well! I'm still at hospital. Will be for a while...I'll check in later. Hope everyone is well.

First ticket for each. Our city is known for strict policy...usually a good thing . Not so much this time.
