Thanks to everyone who gave me a suggestion for a saint. Keep 'em coming! Reading about Fiacre and Boniface led me all around, and where I ended up was with the story of Saint Gummarus.
Saint Gummarus is the patron saint of bad marriages, lumberjacks, foresters, and woodcutters. One day he was sitting under an oak tree with his wife, a real shrew (hence the patronage of bad marriages). Somehow due to her cruelty, the old tree’s trunk cracked and the tree broke in half. Gummarus bandaged the trunk with his belt, and the oak became whole again and bloomed.
What does St. Gummarus tell me about recovery?
But I like the story, a damaged marriage & a mended tree. See you all here tomorrow, I hope!

@ BK...& I'm planning on going World Convention in Atlanta in July;buddy of mine knows friend we can stay @ free(of course give what we can as thank you). But twill be my 1st & sooo excited!
Was invited to alcathon earlier today which wasn't aware of but turned out to be opportunity for service work. Lady @ group that hosted it is their speaker seeker & she asked me if I could do so on Sat to which happily agreed to! Hope everyone had safe Memorial Day & took few mins to pause & thank The Lord for those who paid ultimate price for freedom so freely enjoyed here.

Feeling positive but getting a dose of cabin fever from not being able to do much the last few days!!
