Cast, I'm glad you're here. I hope you start feeling better soon.
I went and walked a few miles with a friend tonight. It felt so good to be a little bit active again. I'm really starting to like being sober and doing things to take care of myself. I just wish I had done this a long time ago.

Know just how you feel Cast from mine 2 weeks ago.....Brutal it was.
Had a wonderful day with my Mom.......the drive down to the cabin, digging ferns from a spring named after my Grandma, time down on the river getting rocks for my flower bed, a visit with my elderly Uncle who has a beautiful place on the river, a visit to my Dad's memorial hill with my Mom. Got home & planted my 4 rose bushes & 8 ferns....the weather is going to be cool & rainy the next few days, so perfect for them to get "settled" in to their new home. I am a tired gardener tonight

It's so weird to be checking in from home! It's just weird being here in my house, but it's good and it's right and I feel settled! Yay!
I've read every post and I love you all!
I can just picture cast going to the chocolate milk store, and Mary planting ancient ferns and Marty winning her trophy...which I am totally impressed with and even more so bc of the injury part! A cooking prodigy!...and Sis B strutting around with jack, and Copper enjoying life anew, and Big driving in circles without his phone, and Della lounging on her new furniture like the Queen of Sheba, and Jen trying to figure out what weirdo is stalking her (I totally think it's the ex) while her new bird flutters happily around the house, and tonks having the time of his life with his new lady friend, and middy on a cleaning and redecorating spree making her home gorgeous!
So, My ex is home from his "getaway" and we've talked about lots of stuff...even did some crying and got some frustration out. I've been debating all day whether to sleep in the guest room or in our bedroom. I dont want to get sucked back into the relationship based on sex...I really want to try and be rational and logical about the whole thing. But....I don't know...I'm just thinking out loud here. Anyway...guess I'll take jens test and report back in a minute!

Hey copper I was #6 as well. Seems to fit.
I'm going so tired tonight. Good news my job got cancelled tomorrow but I still get paid for 4 hours. Can sleep a little and read the paper and meet friends for brunch
I stopped in at my wife's work on the way home to see if she was done yet and there was a huge commotion I just missed. Some old guy got drunk and was verbally abusing his wife. Some patron lady called him out and he flipped telling her to F off so the owner got involved and the old guy tried to hit him, fell down knocked crap over. Guess it was pretty intense scene at this tiny little romantic French spot. Sad, the old lady was still quite attractive and gentle looking. Oh alcohol... Never a good idea.

Oh and had Mac and cheese and brisket for dinner at whole foods. Felt good then saw a lady with kale garlic tahini thing and was like oh yeah, guess there are slightly healthier options. I blame the litter!
