Copper...I've got to make up for lost time! When I was drinking I couldn't be bothered with keeping up with my flower beds! I have a lawn guy that kept hedges trimmed and leaves cleared out, but I didn't touch my beds for the last year at least! Yikes!

Crap dangit! I completely forgot Marty had the chili cook off today! I hope it went well.

It's crazy how drinking robbed us all of so much. It's sad really. I hope I never choose that life again.

I'm here! Was busy earlier putting chili together, then had a meeting to get to, then laundry and cleaning the kitchen from said chili. The cook off starts at 3 - I'll be bust up until then cleaning more stuff. Hope everyone has a great day!

Well I am putting on my cute summer clothes under the bed...it will take like three or four months to get back into them. Ugh! Oh well. Will have to get some clothes to get by for some of summer. Stupid drinking. I hope everyone is having a good day.

It's raining here again today so I'm doing inside stuff. I'm in my craft room getting things organized and taking inventory.....umm....I think I might have an obsession with handmade paper!! Wow! I could start a stationary store!

While I was living at the Marriott I would come by here a few times a week to get mail and kinda check up on things. Anyway, The last time I was here I noticed some framed pictures of us were missing and I thought maybe he just put them away cause he was angry at me. Anyway, yesterday when I was changing the bed linens I saw them all grouped on his nightstand. It made me really sad because he actually has a very tender heart when he's not drinking.
When we met, he was a drinker but not to the level he is now...of course so was I but I was already full blown alcoholic so maybe he's always drank like this I just didn't realize it. I just know that he's got a lot of good things to offer. He's intellectual and giving and I just don't want to totally write him off yet.
In the meantime I'm doing my best to guard my heart because I don't know how much more heartbreak I can take.

Enough rambling....back to organizing!!

Copper...your a musical genius! I call that creative!! I wish I would have learned to play something other than the drums! And I only did that cause my brother told me it was a good way to get guys.....plus he had a hot friend who played drums so I thought it would make him like me....didn't cross my mind that I was like 13 and he was 23! Ha! (Darn)
