hi Marchers !!
DD your food looks great !!! it's early in the morning and I could scarf that down right now. Did you get any good breakfast dishes?
Nothing planned today--the high is suppose to be 5 to 10 below today so, I'm thinking of putting a puzzle together---kinda lazy---but, feeling happy and glad to be sober instead of sneaking into a bedroom closet to find some left over vodka ===
Have a good day!!!

DD, I think it's a tough balance at times in any job. Try to do too much and some will take advantage. I've never had a boss tell me I'm doing too much, even when I worked 80 hours a week on a fixed salary. It can be a very tough decision when to draw the line. Please do make sure you take good care of yourself. You won't be of much use to anyone if you burn out.

Babs, you sound strong in your sobriety! I find it helps to remember just how miserable I was and remind myself that one drink would put me back there.

Hi all, DD make sure to make some time for those you love, work doesn't keep you warm at nights. I hope once you reach May, that there is some drop in your hours, I have realised it is important to get the Life/work balance right.
As for the wine, whenever I have had temptation in my path, I have often wondered, would I give it all up for that? The answer has always been no. I can't tink of the drink impressive enough to make me quit quittin !

Sass, sorry as I am for you going through all that snowy upset, I am glad we didn't move when we were meant to!

Marcher how is Mr Marcher doing?

Babs I'm glad you are feeling good about your sobriety. Did you figure what caused your lapse last time? What have you in place to ensure it doesn't happen again?

Duff I bet you are glad you live a little further south now?

North are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

Budd, hope you are ready for the northern invasion!

Shoes, how are you doing love?

Wehave? Mesoso?

Hey One day, how are the babies doing? X

Toots, when watching the news about the disastrous snow in Boston, I always think of you and how fortunate for you that you didn't come over when you had originally planned! I've heard that it's a nightmare in the city.

This is my friend's street sign that I mentioned in Scituate, MA, a coastal suburb just outside of Boston. Yes, Toots, I think it's a great thing your move was delayed!!!!!

I woke up this morning and thought how I better go check on my Marcher friends and see what's going on. I knew I would have some reading to do.

I don't know what to say.
I'll come back after I process this about Life.

I'm doing good and hope everyone else is too.

xoxo

I'm sorry, Shoes. We've all had a few days to absorb it. This is a tough loss for all of us.

How awesome Ken.
Wish we could all join you.

I am still having a great deal of difficulty coming to terms with Josie's death shoes.

Babs, congrats on one month!! Woooohoooo!!

Dd, that fish looks awesome! I can't cook with wine, last time I tried that it ended up in my belly. I substitute apple cider vinegar with water for white wine. I was skeptical, but it's pretty tasty.

Well guys, I have 2 years today. That means many of you are about to have two years too!

Good afternoon Marchers Poor Shoes, I hope you are doing ok with the news. Thanks for asking Toots, Mr Marcher is doing ok, this evening he is going to a tai chi class because that's meant to help him. Tomorrow he gets a new assessment at the medical gym that he goes to so he is (as usual) looking forward.

Wow DD, that meal you cooked from plated looked good. I had to look up "pollock" because it isn't a fish we have, I see it's from the cod family. Look after yourself, there is quite a bit of time until April 30.

Ken and North I am so excited for you both! Right now it's Monday lunchtime which is when you guys are meeting but of course you aren't up to Monday lunchtime yet so I'll have to wait. What are you up to? Sunday dinner time or a bit later I think.

Wehav

Congratulations on two years! What fun it is to be on th ride with you!

Have a good day peeps.

Congratulations We on the 2 years!

Yes, I will be there pretty soon too. I don't feel like getting to excited about mine too much though since I heard about Life. Not right this minute anyway.

I talked to her once on the phone. We laughed mostly because I had to have her repeat everything she said. I told her "I can't understand a word you are saying with your Scottish accent!" Sorry if it's not called an accent. That doesn't sound right. We laughed more than anything.

I'm going to remember her laugh. She had a great laugh. It would fill a room. And her cows. Those stinkin cute cows.
Buddha bless her laughing tap dancing fiddle playing cow loving heart.

No matter what anyone says we are more than just our addiction. That wasn't all of her.

xoxo
