Class of March 2013 Part 38
Duff and Budd- I don't think I live that far from ya'll now. Just sayin...
Joy, I was thinking that earlier, maybe a Marcher Weekend should be a thought. I believe Duff is about midway between you and me!

While we wait to hear more about the Marchers Florida F2F get together, I wanted to mention that there is a compelling series on Netflix, called Hinterland, that would be appropriate at this time in that it is a bit dark, filmed in Wales in a way that highlights the desolate beauty there with the main character battling his demons around his own grief issues, although each series main focus is a local murder. ( Right now, anything comedic seems trite.)
It has gotten wonderful reviews and has been filmed in Welsh, and then re shot in English. The first season is a series of 4 movie length episodes. I believe season 2 has wrapped up but is not yet available. I found it intelligently written and the scenery just took me away.
IDK if anyone is interested just thought I would throw it out there.

Some really complicated homework today for my Hebrew III class. I expected this class to be a gentle, logical progression from the previous class, the way Hebrew II progressed from Hebrew I. Wrong! They just floored it, and I am, once again, bewildered and frazzled. I guess this is how I'm going to go through the next six years or so.
Why do I bother with this? Because accomplishing the impossible feels really good when it's all over!
I seem to do the same old blowing off steam with every class I take. Sorry to be a broken record!
As soon as I get anything juicier in my life to talk about, I'll let you know!

I've got a box of 1000 biblical Hebrew vocabulary words now. Maybe I'll finally be able to learn enough to have a actual useful conversation with you! But I will proudly say that I now can read and understand the first three verses of the book of Jonah without looking at an English translation! I think I've begun to learn some important buzzwords.
I've learned, for instance, that the word "flee" is barach--make of that what you will!
