Class of March 2013 Part 38
It's nice to have good news to celebrate this week
V, I love TV shows too. I love that I can stream them now on my IPad -- that way I can watch them wherever I am
1Day, this newsletter is a labor of love. This is my 2nd year and it goes along ok once I actually get started, but that's the hard part for me -- getting started. SO only 2 more issues then I retire I use Publisher so I can use it at home which makes things rather easy. BUT it's not compatible with Mac so I have to use a PC (shudder).
Massive cold front coming in tonight, like bring your plants indoors cold

Good morning Marchers
1Day I am so glad! Congrats on your 4 months.
Sass my sweet, don't be anxious, keep an eye out for the postman instead.
Poor Mr Marcher had a dreadful night last night. We've been trialling (prescribed) patch medication for his arthritis and yesterday he started Level 3 which, as his dr warned him, was a pretty high dosage but the previous levels had not worked despite his high threshold for pain. He was fine during the day yesterday but he woke in a clammy cold sweat about 2am, he was nauseous, almost green and very hard to reason with -- all utterly unlike him.
He ripped the patch off and half slept the rest of the night. This morning he announced he would make a "crummy drug addict" (at least he keeps his sense of humour) and that he was staying home to recover from his "overdose".
I think that might be the end of the patches. Thank goodness he is easygoing and has a sense of humour -- imagine what a nightmare it would be if he was a grump.
And thank goodness I can deal with this and run the shop and home because I'm healthy and sober.
Have a good day peeps.

Marcher: It sounds like they might have been fentanyl patches. Were they? I never used pain patches but have heard horror stories about patches made with fentanyl and how addictive they were. No matter, glad he is off them, and "detoxing."
Hey! I'm freezing in Florida. It's just wrong I tell you. 38 degrees tonight. Just wrong.
Yes, Toots, half way through your book. I read it with pride-filled heart!
Gilmer, I have 26 flash cards. A-Z. I get them confused sometimes.
Which brings me to Duff- want to do my newsletter? Ha! I'm not in Orlando. West coast- Tampa area.
1day- yaaaayyyyyy to you! You know.
Marcher- I was on the fentanyl patch for years. Amongst other things. Scary strong stuff. But a necessity for some, I know. I hope Mr. Marcher feels better soon.
Budd- plan it!
Everyone- so glad to be checking in again. You're all the family I actually like to be around. Haha!
Good night! Brrrrr.....

V- I don't watch tv, but I do stream some on Netflix. I used to watch so much tv. I do try to catch some football in season. Hotty Toddy! (I'll explain that one day...)
Dang, I'm in a good mood and it's time for bed. What a waste of a good mood! Ah, well...

Hi guys, belated congratulations OneDay, I meant to say yesterday, but with the kids here I am all mixed up!
Sass I don't envy you all that snow, it has been an extremely mild and snow free winter here, we don't usually get much if any from now. I have been looking at the snowdrops as I run in the lighter mornings, and realising the new promise of spring is on its way.
I would so love to have a Marcher Meet up it would be wonderful.
Marcher, give a big hug to Mr M from me, both for what he is going through and in the amazing way he copes. X I hope you are not doing too much.
Duff, I too struggle with starting writing, but once I am in the flow it is stopping that is the problem!
JG how are you settling in to work? I am glad you have a routine, perhaps all your March friends need a catch up on how the world has been with you this last year. Xx
Ok must dash, in work early today so I can get gson from school. I am so luck to have a fairly flexible job, and a manager who will enable that flexibility. When she could have been awkward and made me stick to my hours, she allows me to start and finish early. It means that I too will put myself out for her and my colleagues when ever I can to help out. Give and take oils the wheels. X

Food for thought.
