Class of March 2013 Part 38 |
Shotgun! Claimed for Josie. |
Thank you Anna  Oh gosh trach, you just love to do that!! I was editing my post, and the thread was closed. Oops. Not to worry... |
I get so few of them these days with all the work. I always grab it then edit. |
Thank you, Anna. Trachy, today I'm not even feeling a tiny bit competitive about shotgun. Enjoy :-) |
Hi, A visitor from the Class of August 2013 here. I wanted to drop a line of support to the Marchers. Our classmates become so important to us and vital in our recovery. Take care. V. |
Thank you darling Venecia. (My fellow V :)). |
Duff and Budd- I don't think I live that far from ya'll now. Just sayin... Joy, I was thinking that earlier, maybe a Marcher Weekend should be a thought. I believe Duff is about midway between you and me! |
Budd, I am attending. |
So am I!!! Might take me a while to get there.... ;) |
While we wait to hear more about the Marchers Florida F2F get together, I wanted to mention that there is a compelling series on Netflix, called Hinterland, that would be appropriate at this time in that it is a bit dark, filmed in Wales in a way that highlights the desolate beauty there with the main character battling his demons around his own grief issues, although each series main focus is a local murder. ( Right now, anything comedic seems trite.) It has gotten wonderful reviews and has been filmed in Welsh, and then re shot in English. The first season is a series of 4 movie length episodes. I believe season 2 has wrapped up but is not yet available. I found it intelligently written and the scenery just took me away. IDK if anyone is interested just thought I would throw it out there. |
Hi Marchers Just checking in. It is bitter up north but warm dogs on the couch make a big difference. Big love to all Marchers - and Jim, if you are peeking in, please post and say hi. |
Toots, great summary. You should write a book... Haha JG, did you find time to read my book??? Xx |
Some really complicated homework today for my Hebrew III class. I expected this class to be a gentle, logical progression from the previous class, the way Hebrew II progressed from Hebrew I. Wrong! They just floored it, and I am, once again, bewildered and frazzled. I guess this is how I'm going to go through the next six years or so. Why do I bother with this? Because accomplishing the impossible feels really good when it's all over! I seem to do the same old blowing off steam with every class I take. Sorry to be a broken record! As soon as I get anything juicier in my life to talk about, I'll let you know! |
Remember Gilmer love, you have a friend here always willing to help. |
I've got a box of 1000 biblical Hebrew vocabulary words now. Maybe I'll finally be able to learn enough to have a actual useful conversation with you! But I will proudly say that I now can read and understand the first three verses of the book of Jonah without looking at an English translation! I think I've begun to learn some important buzzwords. I've learned, for instance, that the word "flee" is barach--make of that what you will! :theyareon |
Gilmer I am suitably impressed. Remember my one flash card stuck to the bathroom mirror with my mobile number on it? Still learning it. |
:) Marcher. ♥ |
Hi Sass my love...how are you tonight? (this morning) How is your sweet cat? |
Marcher, There's NO WAY we're going to be expected to memorize the whole thousand cards! Maybe 100 in twelve weeks! So that'll make a grand total of 200 I know! |
All times are GMT -7. The time now is 01:26 PM. |
