Classroom this week. Then 9 more days outdoors. Should be fun. We got 50cm of snow Sunday. After that I finally get to go home. I actually saw bath bombs at the pharmacy.

Your grace is so powerful. Your love is beautiful. Your presence is peaceful. Thank you for today, for giving us time, for giving us precious life to do your will, and for giving us people to love. Sometimes my own skewed perspective of myself hinders me from doing things. I need courage. I need to be less insecure. Please deliver me from my insecurities. Lord, I ask that you help me to view myself as you see me. I pray that I will see myself as valuable, worthy, lovely, and beautiful. I pray for myself and for others who battle insecurities. Be our strength and help us overcome in Jesus name AMEN!

Denise - congrats on 80. That is huge.
Mld - I love making bagels but I have not made them in years. Yours look mighty fine. My favorite way to eat mine is with cream cheese. Smoked salmon and tomato with capers and cracked pepper. I will eat just about anything on a bagel and I would eat them all the time but they are too high in calories. You should try melted cheddar with tomato and a bit of sea salt and cracked pepper. Yum.
Love the range - I have not shot a rifle in years - you rocked it Mld.
Cast - enjoy your time off and the journey before you have to do it all over again.
Sunking - sounds like a perfect day.
Dax - sorry you are sick but I am so glad you checked in.. We missed you.
Max - so glad you are staying strong.
Tonks - I love you - nuf said.
Brynn, hang in there. I'm sending you love.
MariahGalye - beautiful share. Thank you.
Della, I'm with Tonks - I love oatmeal raisin cookies.
BugShoe - travel safe. So glad you had a beautiful morning with your kitty. Enjoy your stop over visit in Chicago.
Wow - so much going on since I checked in this morning. If I missed anyone I am sorry and I'll get you later.

I'm with Della! Not a big fan of raisins! Don't you hate when you bite into a cookie thinking it's chocolate chip and it's raisin? ugh!

Max you're so lucky you enjoy cooking and are actually good at it! Hey...and snow days are made for laying around and eating right?

Ok cast...did you actually buy the bath bombs or just look at em? If you buy some I promise we won't tell the guys in your platoon (or whatever it's called)!!! . I don't know how you stay out in the cold like that!! Be safe!!

((Dax)) feel better soon brother! Good thoughts and prayers coming your way!

Thanks for sharing Mariah! ❤️

Midwest...are you still in Colorado??

Love to everyone and especially to those we haven't heard from In a while.....Erin, fabl, Amnesiac. ❤️

Day 13 check in. Stressful day at work. Turned down another HH invite (my office is in an urban neighborhood where there are plenty of watering holes.....they'll catch on soon that I'm no longer interested....)
I've also been feeling bad since my last slip about a friend of mine that seems to want to be more than friends...we hung out that last night I was drinking and nothing happened, but he has asked me to do it again and sent me a valentines text ....it seems he has the wrong idea. I have always had a hard time asserting myself. I've done that and will keep to my plan to stay away from him but wanted to share what was going on here to keep myself accountable ....
Happy sober Monday night! Please pass the bagels and veggie cream cheese!

Yes Brynn the chocolate chip/raisin ploy is why I have trust issues.

I can totally relate Della!

Thanks for letting us know what's going on, kitty, and I'm really proud of you for turning down the HH invite! I hope you can let your friend know that your not interested in a relationship right now and that he can respect that.

Just be honest Kitty and say you are working on yourself and don't want a relationship but can use all the friends you can get.

Kitty, I bet it is empowering to turn down the HH invites. They may catch on or maybe not. Sometimes I think people are oblivious. As to the fellow - let him down easy. You know you are quite a catch.
