I am still here, still sober, still boxing, still working out.
Though recently my life has been anything but "still" - I managed to fell in love (at least it seemed like that), got my heart broken (or I just imagined it to be that way to "spice up" my life), to do my ten-year plan for crazy things. And yet stay sober)
Missed you all.
During all this turbulent time I've had a feeling something is missing out of my life. Yesterday I got it - SR! It still remains the only and the best place where I can be myself.

Jeni, I know how overwhelming change can be, but you only need to deal in bite sized chunks, don't fret tomorrow, manage today.
MB, I know love hurts, whatever age, but I feel it is proof of our ability to give and receive love, so not something to shy from. Plus that is what ice cream was made for!!
Steve congratulations on 2 years mate, I know they haven't been easy ones, but I also know they have gotten better. Proud to know you!
Drake, congratulations to you too my dear, and I am so happy the Lady O is so much better these days.
Mags, I will be round with the bubble wrap for you and hubby, that way if you fall you won't hurt!
Healing hugs Itchy and Wolfie, Wolfie, Singapore ear? Not sure I want to know how one gets that!!!!
All is well in Tootsville went to my works do last night, 11of the 13 people there seemed intent on getting blootered as soon as they could ( including my bosses!) of the other 2 one was me the other a 16 year old girl with more sense than all the adults put together!
I left them to it and went to collect my merrily drunk hubby from his first night out with friends since his return 6 weeks ago. Bless!
Lazy morning today and family round for dinner later. I am truly blessed in my recovery, had I still been drinking, I would have been one of the blootered, hubby would have forsaken his night out to be able to collect my drunks a$$, I would be suffering mightily today and incapable of cooking, and to miserable to want family around. By the by, hubby far too cheerful for such a late drunk night, I wish to stick pins in his effigy!

Congrats to Steve on 2 years, to Drake on 20 months and to Venus on 6 weeks! I LOVE it when we hit those milestones.

Itch, sorry 'bout the hearing, bud. I have to use those ear wax removal drops every 6 months or so as that waxy build-up runs in my family. Speaking of family, my mom has been dealing with major depression for the past 25 years and dad has been her primary caretaker. She's had it pretty much under control the past 15 years or so, but I do see signs that it's creeping back recently. We're hoping for the best with the home health care folks...we're just taking it one step at a time for now.
Wolfie, Mags, Instant, Rusty, Toots, Gilmer, Dee and the rest...have a great sober Sunday!

im always trippin over mags i dont fall down stairs but i somehow fall up them
Itch the size of a marble ? woah ... i hope its on mend mine isnt clearing up had pain saturday but bearable i just want this over with i am ringing first thing in the morning

A quick note to say hi, I have 23 months.
Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm following closely. 2 Years ! Connnnngraaaatttuuulllaations !!! You're brilliant. I've followed you and you wavered but stuck it out. That really inspired me and still does. Only one month to 2 years but with all the Christmas parties, I'm wavering and dithering these days but seeing you makes me strong.
So much happening on this thread lately. MB, wow, lots of action in your life but you seem to take it all in stride, and you too Toots, so sweet, you seem at peace with your sobriety next to others who can drink.
Jen and V, I don't know you much but having that affliction too, I'm so relieved for you the the veil, the fog has lifted. Be extra mindful and caring of yourselves because paradoxically, it's when we're starting to feel better that we're at our most vulnerable, like newborns.
Gilmer, Drake, a special hello to you guys.
And the ears, wolf and itch, sending lots of healing vibes your way.
As for me, loving work, helping quite a few persons in need but still feeling very lonely socially. I will make an effort to open up more. With the holidays there are more parties so it should be a good "getting out of my comfort zone" time.

Hi everyone! Will be 23 months for me just before Christmas 
Had a lovely weekend but it's just been too darn short so I'm very much looking forward to 12 days off over Christmas and New Year
