Monday morning here and I'm heading to work. My boss has been really difficult since I announced I'm leaving and I've now reached that point where I'm not prepared to take it any more. We've always been such good friends but I can see that might be difficult in the future as she's taken it all so personally.
FBL I hope your Mum gets the right treatment. She's lucky to have you in her corner looking out for her.
DP getting out of your comfort zone can be scary. I'm not very sociable and dislike small talk at parties but often surprise myself by enjoying them when I make the effort.
Oh well I've just had an apologetic text from my boss....let's see what today brings.

Yep, yours sound like ours with the roles reversed. He is feeble in body but now also becoming that way increasingly in mind. You are on track as we are. Not much comfort when doing the right things by them can’t actually help them stay with us physically or mentally. If I was going through the chemo I would have to take a break from my sobriety and try out the medical marijuana. Is it available in your state for your dad?

I’ve got parts to order for my truck, the search for the right RV to live in for the month our new abode is assembled. I am getting a used one but the really good deals are gone before I get to them. I need to can the for sale ads first thing instead of after noon! I’m my usual healthy in body and soul except for the disruption and fear of never getting my hearing back. I really pray I turn out to be an idiot for jumping the gun if my hearing in that ear does return. If one were to pray, once again keep it simple - pray for me to turn out to be an idiot.
I really love you guys even if I’m terrible with my once a day attempt to catch up.

Congratulations Dottie, I always knew you could do it even through some tough times. I'm proud of you love.
Jeni, I can understand her behaviour, even if I don't condone it, but it is her issue and she needs to learn to deal with it, you don't. Neither do you need to tolerate such unprofessional behaviour. I hope her text is a sign of a wind change in her attitude.

Jeni, I'm sorry that such a good friendship is now so strained. Maybe in time (absence makes the heart grow fonder) she'll repent of treating you so badly and be a true friend again. At any rate, you won't have to put up with things there much longer. Hang in there!

Brrrr....first scraping of proper frost from windscreen this early evening 
It's taken a long time to get cold here in Scotland, but this Wednesday is forecast to be not very nice at all - major winds and cold temperatures!

Thought I'd just have a quick visit to y'all, it's cold outside, not Canada cold but english cold, get a few icy snowy days and it causes turmoil here, just another day in some parts.
