I have a delayed flight this morning so have some time on my hands.

Congrats to Bimini on the 100 week anniversary today

My 100 week is tomorrow night. What a fantastic journey it has been and I am very grateful to be at this place in my life.

Have a fun and sober week.

Thanks, Discovery. I didn't realize it was 100 weeks. Pretty cool. I knew it was a Wednesday in March that I quit. I went to my first AA meeting on that Saturday and I was a complete hot mess. In hindsight, I would have been better off waiting a few weeks to go. I was so unbalanced.

I hope all is well for you and all the Marchers.

Bim just went and looked. Sounds like they are doing well. It is a journey and a very interesting and educational one at that.

Another week on this trip. Then maybe I'll be able to stay home for a while.

Long time since my last post. Finally got my traveling done. It got extended 3 times. Oh well.

Can't believe the change in the weather in the West, very Springlike for this early in the year. I am hoping we get more moisture to tamp down the propensity for fires later in the year.

Coming up on 2 years sober in less than 2 weeks. It has been quite a ride!

Congrats to all, especially the Marchers.

Well Bimini, Aarry and other Marchers, our two year anniversary month has arrived.

At the start, in March 2014, the hours of sobriety passed by impossibly slowly, painfully, let alone the days, weeks and months. Now after being in recovery for nearly two years the same time periods fly by with barely a notice.

It has been and is an incredible journey and I am so very thankful to have reached this point successfully. Now to keep working on sobriety and continue the string of successes.

Congrats to all

Congrats to us on 3 years. I had to do some serious searching to find this thread. Lucky I had copy/pasted the link ...maybe I should bookmark it!

Anyway, any of you lurking on the site still? I know BruceSA came back to the main forums, and I see BerryBean all the time. enfinthechange is back on the sober side, too. Excellent.

Hope you're doing well, Discovery14 and Aary.

3 years ago. So long but time flies so fast! Not spent all of it sober by any means, but more of it than the time before ... so going in the right direction at least! !! Hahahaha.... I love that biminiblue keeps an eye on me! Hope the rest of you are out there in soberland somewhere... you were a great group and I always felt bad to have let you down! Keep marching on!!! X

You didn't let us down, enfin. I'm just so happy for you that you are finding a way to make it stick. We all have to figure that out, so well done you.

Back and not in a good way.

I was in this Class of March 2014. Made it to May 15, 2017 sober, three years and a little bit.

I was in a fairly bad automobile accident and the Docs had me all doped up with OxyContin. That stuff just doesn't work for me! I can't concentrate and have continuous bowel problems so .... I went back to the combination of treatment that worked for me when I had back problems.

Valium and 1/2 a glass of Chardonnay. Worked perfectly for my pain but of course we all know where it leads. Yup got hooked again by late Summer.

Quit yesterday so I am coming up on my 1 day "anniversary"

I will be back posting again and have decided to stay in the Class of March 2014.

I just checked on this thread a couple days ago and thought about you, Discovery.

I don't think there are many of us still on the site, but I have been wrong before - and I hope others will turn up.

I'm glad you made it back. Sorry to hear about your accident and I hope physical therapy will help you heal.

Not a fan of oxy either. Or chardonnay, but that's another can o' worms.

Hi Discovery - sorry for your pain but welcome back

I'd like to make a suggestion - this thread isn't really that active anymore - last posts before yours are nearly a year ago.

A support thread with no feedback is not much good for you when feedback is what you need right now.

II really recommend you think about joining the Class of January thread, or the Under One Year thread if that might suit you better?
