That is great news about the thyroid Aarry and congrats on the 18 months

As always I am a few days behind you with my 18 month on the 6th. Biminiblue should be chiming in here also, I think her 18 month is around the 1st of the month like you.

If it is not expensive to apply just go ahead and get set to go to school in January. It is usually very easy and cheap to defer admission for a term or two after you are accepted.

March 5 for me

I haven't been keeping up in here, apparently. Glad to see everyone.

Hello, guys! Hope everything is going well with you!

We are having a heatwave this week. It's in the 90s and high humidity. It's about time summer showed up!

I have nothing really exciting to report as of the moment. I am waiting on one more document to send of for school. I actually had gotten accepted into a very good school here, Illinois Institute of Technology, however, it's pricey and even with aid, I won't be able to afford to go. Oh well. At least I got in.

I can't believe it's Labor Day already. Where has the year gone? Oh, that's right, I slept through it. <laughs>

Hope everyone has a good Thursday!

Just wanted to give a quick hi!

I hope all my American friends had a safe, happy holiday weekend.

Monday, I went to my brother's and hung out with him, his girlfriend, her brother, and my mom. Had a good time until the mosquitos showed up to ruin things. Funny that I only got bites on my legs.

Medical journey continues. Went to see the thyroid surgeon and thankfully found out there was a misprint on the size of one of the growths. While this is fantastic news, meaning no surgery, it still raises so many questions of what's going on with me. Overall, I feel better that no one is going to slicing open my neck. Next on the list is infectious disease to check out about the positive Lyme antibodies that came back.

Anyhow, wishing you guys all the best!

Speaking of sleeping! I slept right through Bimini and my 18 month sober. Oh well, the important part is that we are still not using.

Funny how that is, back at the start of this journey it seemed like each day was an eternity, the weeks of sobriety crawled by. Now I can barely keep up with them.

I have been riding my bicycle a lot. Had to move my rides to after work because it is too dark in the mornings now. Soon enough it will be too cold. I need to look for some could weather riding gear. Maybe I can keep up the cycling until Thanksgiving or so.

Glad to hear only good news from you all! Have a safe and sober weekend.

Hope all had a great weekend. I am busy getting some Fall/Winter chores done. Better to do them now than be on the roof with the ice and snow.

Opening weekend for football!

I admit I spent way too much time in front of the TV over the past couple of days but what can I say? I love football season!

I've been feeling under the weather the last couple of days but trying not to let it get to me. The headaches are killer but I'm just trying to make sure to get enough rest and drink enough water. I have a doctor appointment in two weeks so I'll bring it up then if it's still an issue.

I really love the fall. Chill in the air, sunshine or lazy rainy days, fall colors, warm beverages, soft sweaters.

Wishing you all the best for the upcoming week, my friends.

Agree 100%.

So many times in the early days that every minute felt like an hour, especially when I was waiting for the stores to close so I couldn't break down and go buy a bottle.

It's amazing how life is so, well, normal now. I'll take it any day versus the hell of active alcoholism.

Time flies by! Hope everyone is doing well.

I am traveling a lot for work and play. Seems like I spend no time at home. Will have to remedy that this Fall; I like my home.

I haven't watched a minute of football yet. Don't know where I would fit it in. Maybe over Thanksgiving or something. I would rather be riding my bicycle or working in the shop as long as the days are still nice.

Have a great weekend!

Finally getting some rain today. Is there Wednesday Night Football? LOL

I am really enjoying the slide in to Fall. I think the leaves are turning around here not because it is so cold, but because it has been so dry. Hope we get lots of rain before the first hard freeze or lots of plants are going to be killed.

I have been traveling a lot. Finally back home for a couple of weeks I hope.

Had an interesting thing happen. I got bumped from a flight and so they put me in First Class for the replacement flight. WooHoo free booze!!

Well there was, I admit, some temptation but I did not indulge. It has been too hard an undertaking to kick the habit to let it end that way. Guess that at least currently I have my AV firmly corralled.

Good to hear from you Trach and Bimini.

Aarry you will have to report the football stuff to us here. I still haven't watched any this year.

Hope all are enjoying the slide in to Winter.

Disco, If the Dogs have regrouped properly, the UGA-Florida game at 3:30 EDST on CBS could be a hot game.

Good to see you.
