Class of September 2013 part 4
Ok I'm gonna get it right this time guys.
Rochele, I am so sorry you are getting sick, your body must need rest. I hope you have the opportunity to get some. Feel better soon.
Jeez!! My brain is made of cake.
I've been making giant cupcakes for work all day, and I've also eaten my fair share

Good morning all. Had my first 'drinking dream' last night - first ever even when I was drinking I can't recall having one. It was a bit alarming but not as scary as some people have reported. I kind of knew I was dreaming in some small way. Still - a relief when I woke up and realised that 'couple of bottles of Sémillon' that a drunk dinner guest asked me to get came to nothing!
It is day 23 for me today. Yesterday wasn't much fun but I feel fresher and really very positive this morning.
Lorelie - I hope all goes well for you today. All the best to everyone else in their early days today!

abwvu1: THE BRAIN FROM TOP TO BOTTOM this should be a help to people Thanks.
Lorelei : Hope your MRI scan went well and the news is all good.
have a hospital appointment on Thursday myself, ah women trouble constantly having polyps cut away so might need a hysterectomy to sort things out.
Still trying to keep busy, went to counselor yesterday and had to hear some home truths about the crap i said to my kids when drunk, argh (sigh) annoying and frustrating but sure what can you do except apologies and try and move on from it. lets hope it is in the past and I don't have to hear the like again. it is so embarrassing to sit a listen to it, knowing you don't remember half of it.
It left me in a bad mood all day yesterday but tried to hid it.
Good luck all you runners today, I could not run the length of myself. lol. But going to a spinning class in 20 mins, prefer the bicycle the stationary kind that is.

Hi All,
Joining the class of September and I'm on day 3.
It's not the stopping I find hard - it's the staying stopped! I am a functional alcoholic drinking a bottle to a bottle and a half of wine a night. To be honest, I don't even think I am physically addicted. The wine serves to mask the boredom I have in my life. Not drinking I can see that I need to pick up a hobby or two and get really interested in something other than TV and video games.
Anyway - Hi all, going to try and post on here every day.

Welcome Vickylou
Boredom is a trigger for me also there's only so much TV or (at present) online jigsaw puzzles you can take ;-)
I purchased a language course a few years back still in its box going to dig that out the weekend it's hard though having used alcohol for enjoyment for so long to know what you actually enjoy sober for me anyways. Planning on giving lots of things a whirl and see what sticks.
