It feels good to wake up on a Friday without a hangover, and also to know I won't drink today. It will not be easy, but the hard things in life don't come without a fight. Have a great and sober day friends.

Awesome job, Babs! You are almost not an "under". I was a year into sobriety before I found SR. Wish I had found it earlier ( like you). Some really inspiring people here

One more day down. I think I got about a week now. Also am back on a healthier eating schedule. I got off course with that too when all the stress exploded in my world. Going to go back to water aerobics again on Mon. It's the senior format, not too rough. Gotta do something physical. The stress is a killer for me and I have a hard time letting go. Am working on that too. So damn much stuff to always be workin' on. *sigh*

Aems, you are so hard on yourself, ease up a bit and be a bit kinder. Just take it a day at a time, remember, only baby steps are required. You will get there, those little steps add up into a great big mile before you know it. Good idea to plan on doing some exercise, it's a wonderful stress booster. Stick close.

Hi all, I won't stop long, as am away to bed. Lose an hour tonight, so need my beauty sleep( more than most!!)

After church services by the lake ( it's a 'come as you are' service, which means I will be in blue jeans, with my dog ....we are cooking a delicious feast and will likely be in a food coma this time tomorrow. I will send you all a virtual dessert....Hope you have a wonderful, sober Easter!

Had a lovely day playing golf badly, hubby cooked tea( I bought him a cookery class with the chef Nick Nairn and since then he thinks he's the galloping gourmet!!) which was delicious, letting that go down, before tucking into the pud!
Looks like we have gson overnight tomorrow and Monday, so I will have no time to even think about drinking!!!
