THEY MOVED THE EGGS!!!!

NO LONGER IN DAIRY WHERE THEY BELONG, BUT ALL BY THEMSELVES IN AISLE 10!!! I complained, couldn't help it and wasn't going to take it anymore. Turns out A & P has been purchased by Metro and they are going to shuffle the entire deck and re-do the store.

Good thing I'm moving. This is more than one Queen can take.

Dancinggirl has been posting infrequently on the Class of July thread.

Hi brainfried! I'm happy to see you back.

I can't help but think that your dancing boy is playing with bakugan balls. That could just be the mother of 2 boys in me though. Do you know what those things are?

They are the bane of the must have toy phenomenon this year.

Playing cards with a ball game player, they are magnetic and roll out into their attack mode on the card. But they have made them in low supply on purpose in order to cause a craze, it's complete consumer manipulation.

I have been in the store in the town where I am moving and it's beautiful and carries so many wonderful things. For now I am trying to not get attached to the aisles. but I know once I move it will become a routine and I will have my order back again.

I'm a little OCD (do ya think?!?) and my thoughts are that they should hire all OCD's and that way the shelves would always be perfectly arranged and they would never change aisles.

OCD or not, I too hate when stores move stuff around constantly!! Why?? I get used to things in a certain place and then have to relearn everything. Very irritating!

There is a chance that money again is the culprit, give a kickback, or a straight out
bribe, and all of a sudden a product is moved, and in a better location. That is the reason milk is always at the back of the store, so the customers have to pass the rest of the products, and come out of the store with more then they ran in to quickly pick up and go.

heres the deal....they move the items around, then hide all the clerks...that way we have to walk down every aisle in order to complete our nicely organized list...and are more likely to purchase "extra" items on impulse....

humans are so easily manipulated (that is a whine)

I worked in a library for a couple of years. Whenever I went into a library (years after I left that job), I would instinctively straighten the shelves...put misplaced books in order, pull the books forward to straighten the shelves, etc.

After working in Walgreen's for several years, any store I went into would get the OCD treatment of straightening, facing, etc.

I think it's an occupational hazard...too bad the current employees don't feel the same!

Unhappy

Just got a call from nyc sister (the dog-coat-maker) and she was so distraught I could barely understand her. She's in a new job that she absolutely hates, due to some real idiots she has to work with, and is off the wall depressed over her inability to get any presents for anyone. She had surgery for a heart problem several months ago and was hit up for a huge portion of the huge bill as her responsibility. She complained to her insurance company but the revised bill (her portion) is nearly as bad: $10,000!!!

She is a complete mental mess right now, and I'm asking for prayers and positive thoughts for her that she can get out from under this depression and feel a bit more 'at peace' with herself and her lot in life. Thanks in advance for your prayers. She's a sweet sister with too much on her plate right now and I can't help her out with anything but loving her.

Thanks!

All my thoughts and best wishes are going to least and your sister, we in the Uk dont realise how lucky we are with the NHS.

It seems immoral to me that someone dealing with the recuperation from major surgery has the added stress of dealing with insurance and debt.

Being in a job you hate is so depressing I can understand why she is distraught, but she is lucky to have someone who cares and someone she can talk to.
