Grateful for all of you
Grateful for to have a quilt pieced together. I may add a boarder, not sure yet
Grateful for my coffee
Grateful for a warmish morning, although tomorrow it is supposed to be cold
Grateful to have another week down of radiation. 2.5 more weeks to go, then surgery a few weeks after that
Grateful for fabric to sew with
Grateful I got a roast to cook in the crockpot tonight

Paul/FBL, I too am so sorry for your loss. And glad for the days you did get to enjoy in her company, sober.
Hev, that is so funny about your son’s cat. I was definitely checking closets because they love to sneak in there. I’m honestly still not sure where my little guy was hiding. He just kind of emerged and was sitting on the landing looking at me like he really didn’t know what I was carrying on about.

Grateful
- my daughter’s sleep struggles are not usually as bad as they were last night. It was awful. Reminds me of the dark days of when they were babies and I used to just walk the floor praying for sleep and then just waiting for when it was close enough to dawn to put the coffee on and pretend I was on a normal human schedule and was just an early riser.
- my blackberry bush has buds on it
- my mom and sister will get to see lots of wildflowers before it gets too scorching here
- I don’t have to work today. My brain is full of mud.
- the strange upside of pulling my back out is that it kind of forces me to rest at a time when I need it
-I didn’t get upset with my daughter when her sleep troubles became mine. Frustrated, yes. For sure. But not in a way I shamed her or took it on her.
-things often seem better in the light of day. Even if not great, still at least a bit better.
- for all of you

NL and Alpine are tied for Shotgun! Thanks Dee for the new thread. I was confused at first because I did not see it and I thought "where is everybody today?"
FBL I am so sorry about your friend. She looks like a kind soul.
Free I hope the house rental works out.
NL I am sorry about the rough night with your daughter. I hope tonight is better.
Fearless I am glad you heard from Aly. Hope she is well.
Alpine that is so cool that you quilt and sew. My grandmother and great grandmother were seamstresses. They created amazing things. They also knit. My mother had mostly home made clothes growing up. And our baby clothes were also made by my grandmother.

Grateful for a relaxed day. I can pick a few chores and go to the gym. It is too stormy to walk or hike.
Grateful for another win in tennis yesterday. But I am working on my mindset of just enjoying the matches and not worrying about the outcome. Playing in the moment. Life is too short to beat myself up about lost matches and missed shots.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful for an amazing day with my granddaughter yesterday. I got a pedi and she got a mani. She drew me an adorable mermaid picture. She was so well behaved and listened well. We played fairies outside and had no screen time.
Grateful my husband is okay after a close call at work yesterday. He is a furniture designer and craftsman. Almost got lacquer in his eyes.
Grateful to hear the wind chimes and the birds this morning.
Grateful for SR and the GP.

Hey all

Grateful to be sober
Grateful my cousin has been so great with my uncle
Grateful for time today
Grateful for the farmers who grow the food we eat
Grateful that I managed to pick up my lost parcel before going off to cat-sit on Monday

Fearless - glad you got some positive news :-)
Free - glad that you slept OK. Sleep has never been great for me - never achieved the sweet. deep sleep many people seem to get when ditching the booze. But I'm trying to improve it - keeping my phone out of my room etc
Hev - 60 degrees! Can you give me some of 'em?! Cold and grey here
FBL - yes, as others have said, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. That is a really lovely picture
Dee - thank you as always for the new thread and all that you do and are

and love to everyone else

coffee
sleeping ok

that despite my jokester self, I won’t post an April fool joke here 🦸🏻‍♀️
For fair sleep
for meeting with a friend to night, feeding him steak—and discussing if we can be his roommates starting in August
that I didn’t eat my deliciously poisonous red licorice I found while looking for corn meal in pantry.
for chili last night, and homemade corn bread
for a wood fire last night, shared with hubby and Carley Simons voice.
for working out yesterday a little

CB, my Grandmother used to make me clothes as well and my Mom made my prom dress. I have made a few bags with zippers. Those take a while to figure out. Congrats on the wins! I am happy to hear your husband did not get injured. Mr. A does a fair amount of woodworking and has had close calls
Free, wood fire sounds nice

Hi Hev, Palmer and everyone else!
Grateful to have slept well
Grateful I have time for a workout before heading across the bay to meet some girlfriends for lunch and shopping
Grateful Mr F picked up 25 bags of bark on sale for the yard. Huge savings!
Grateful the PG&E bill went down almost $200 as a result of pressure from the media and governor
Grateful for a sunshiny weekend
Grateful the Japanese maple is blooming!
YOU!

CBS - Glad your husband is ok. That must be an enjoyable job.
FBL - I'm sad to hear your lost your friend Tierni. RIP sweet lady.
Jack - The 60 degrees has gone already - now we're back to chilly.
Free - That looks so delicious. Carly - I loved 'That's the Way I Always Heard it Should Be' & 'Coming Around Again'.
Fearless - I didn't realize Jap. Maples had flowers. They're so pretty.
Grateful we have left winter in the dust.
Grateful I finally made a dental appointment after procrastinating forever. It probably won't be as bad as expected.
Grateful we have all we need.
Love & hugs to everyone.

Morning all

Bit chilly today, chilly and grey but I'm grateful -

For a day off
For the health food shop on the corner
For the chickens who laid the eggs I had for breakfast
For hangover-free Sundays
For a night without earplugs (the snoring neighbour wasn't too bad last night!)
For another day of life
For the Sedona Method - worth checking out...

Free - that's a great looking bowl of food right there

Have a good day all

Grateful for all of you
Fearless, thank you for the kind words
Grateful for a sunny morning and early afternoon yesterday. Mr. A and I ate lunch outside
Grateful a new friend called me yesterday. I thought it was a mistake because who would call me.. It was nice to hear a voice.
Grateful for the walk Mr. A and I did yesterday. It was only about 2 miles but at least we got out.
Grateful I stepped outside early this morning, and boy are there a lot of stars
Grateful I can move around better without much pain. My hip and the tumor are hurting a bit but I can deal with it.
Have an awesome day all

Alpine I am glad you are able to get out and walk. 2 miles is good. Take it slow.
Jack I love hangover free Sundays too! And no hangxiety! That is what finally made me wise up and quit.
Hev yay you are going to the dentist. Probably will be fine since you aren't having pain right? Just a lot of plaque to clean off.
Fearless I hope you enjoy lunch and shopping with your friends.
Free I hope your meeting with your friend goes well.
Hello to all!

Grateful for sunshine and a cool Spring morning.
Grateful for decent sleep.
Grateful for some fun tennis this afternoon.
Grateful that the necklaces I had made for my daughters turned out well. One daughter has a birthday Tuesday and the other's birthday is not until September. But I really want to give it to her now. I could call it an Easter present.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful for the Grat Pack.
