Alpine - my mother used to sew out of
necessity when her and dad first got hitched. Then she made some quilts here and there. Sewing seems therapeutic as me doing art projects. Good stuff
Numb - hope you get some rest to get the mud :-0 out of your brain.
CBS - playing fairies sounds right up my ally. Imagination and play is great at all ages. I'm thinking about a costume design right now.
Jack - happy cat sitting meow.
FBL - condolences regarding you beloved friend.
Free - nurture and grow your jokester self
Fear- Japanese maple is blooming

Hevyn is looking forward to warmer weather. I get plenty of that here.

Hi Gratteers.

Blessed --

-- with my peers here.
-- to cohabitate with Ry kitty boy. BFF and then some with a bag of chips to boot.
-- to be a silly twit and love myself for being it
-- comedians
-- film directors and film music composers.
-- Bogie Bacall movies
--"play it again Sam"

Grateful for all of you
CB street tacos tend to have the small tortillas and have cilantro and lime. I marinade my leftover steak or shredded roast in soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder and oregano for a few hours then warm it up in a pan. I don't use cilantro, just lettuce, onion, and cheese.
Grateful Mr. A kept complimenting me on the tacos
Grateful I made a KeyLime pie the other day which turned out pretty darn good
Grateful for the sun yesterday
Grateful for another day of radiation done..even though they have now added 2 more days. Blah
Grateful for the friends I have found here

Free, of course the tooth fairy is real! Hope it goes well!
Turps, I’m sorry you’ve been in a funk. It sounds like you know what you need to do to get out. Always here for any support you need. I will join you in not eating popcorn

Alpine - I haven't made a Key Lime Pie in ages, but they're my favorite. I use Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice. Your tortillas sound wonderful.
Samwitch - Love our neighboring state of PA.
Grateful things are slowly getting green.
Grateful I'm having popcorn for lunch (just a smidge of butter)
Grateful for the Robins that are hanging out in our yard.
Grateful for SR & this thread - very grateful I accidentally stumbled on it years ago.
Love to YOU.

Grateful
*for a late post here
*for a day heaped with physical discomfort yesterday, helps me appreciate the good ones
*for Luke warm coffee (not allowed hot things for three days)
*for recognizing that all of a sudden I NEEDED crunchy things yesterday because I was not allowed to have them
*to open up the crock pot box, going to make a new recipe, curry chicken with sweet potatoes etc, coconut milk……
*to search EVERYWHERE for my size 6 crochet hook, organize and purge things, found lost items under couch, only to find my hook under a ball of yarn😬🤪
*for real life friendships forged from a common goal

Alpine, hooray on the good news from surgery #1!!!
Free, that sounds like something I would do (turn the house upside down for something only to find it some place — not obvious but more related to the thing.
Fearless, you are making me jealous of all the bread and dough related activity in your house.
Turs, glad you are asking for help.
Citrus, glad your cravings weren’t bad yesterday (or maybe now the day before)
Sam, awesome that you are enjoying spring.
Hev, glad spring is coming for you too! And amen to being glad to stumble on this site years ago. Makes me glad they make the pages searchable because that is definitely how I found my way here—asking the Internet something that was similar to a question someone here had.
Hi FBL!

Grateful
- to get some help from my mom and sis. My sister is a dynamo. Cleaned and rearranged my patio, my kids’ rooms and even kind of redecorated my daughter’s. My mom washed my car inside and out and helped with dishes and went to the store. And also took us out to eat a bunch. The sleeping arrangements weren’t exactly optimal but I’m sure going to miss having back up adults around.
- that my mom and sis witnessed things completely unravel with my son yesterday morning. It may be immature but I’m just kind of glad it gave them a realistic picture of what I’m dealing with and how I’m just kind of drowning and in survival mode here.
- to refrain from going on a big diatribe against drinking even when I had an opening.
- for a couple days without kids or guests in the house
- to have signed up to lead meetings in April for my online AA group. I think if I hadn’t volunteered I would just be skipping right now in my overwhelmed state—and I probably need them more than ever.
- for my pets.
- for this group and this day.

Free, so sorry about the pain. Hope it eases upon!
Alpine, hooray for the good news! Lol on the meme
Numblady, so nice of your mom to do all that. Can I borrow her? I am glad her and sis got to see your son that way too. I totally get that! Good for you for leading the meetings!
Grateful to have slept well. I had crazy dreams though, one of which involved me driving frantically to different airports for a trip because I forgot whether I was flying out of OAK or SFO. Then I forgot my luggage.
Grateful for the warm fire
Grateful for therapy today
Grateful to be caught up at work and have time for special projects
Grateful to trim my bangs even though a little too short. I sort of like them this way though
Grateful for you!
