Love that, Alpine! I won’t try to de notch you. I do hope your pain goes down
CBS, so glad your necklaces turned out. I did have a really nice time shopping. I don’t really need anything but it’s fun to window shop. Clothes are so expensive at brick and mortar stores now. I tend to get good ideas from outfits I see, then find something similar online 😊. I bought Mr F a new puzzle and I got sonny boy some charms for his crocks 😊 Oh, and some wax melts and candles for me.
Grateful for a nice Greek lunch and walk in the sunshine, stopped to get Peets coffee
Grateful Mr F started a sourdough starter
Grateful to have some time to work today then later have a phone date with friend and a walk planned with another friend
Grateful friend in Indiana, the one I’ll be talking to shortly is safe

Alpine, LOVE the stars, and glad a friend called you in purpose
CBS, you are so talented……..making jewelry? So cool!

Grateful

*the dinner was good last night
*friend will talk to his landlord, he will ask if it’s ok, we are super quiet and go to bed early and are outside all day most days, so fingers crossed. Otherwise, it’ll be plan B
*for coffee
*for getting the artisan bread going already
*for making Challah soon as well
*for all of you

Alpine - Take it down a notch - reminds me of MrHev's ill-advised, "Easy, Easy..." A two mile walk is excellent, considering how sore you've been.
CBS - Well - No pain, but I was in the middle of having stuff done when Covid hit & the dentist's office actually closed. (boo hoo). Then when we moved, I didn't seek out another dentist, until now. So probably more than plaque, but I must face it.
Fearless - Charms for Crocs - must be a fun thing to collect. I love candles too. Burning one right now.
Free - Challah!....just when I put thoughts of bread out of my mind. I'm sure it will be lovely.
Grateful that when we lost power due to high winds it was late at night & not cold out. Thankful for candles.
Grateful for am empty hamper.
Grateful to remember childhood Easters & those new outfits - we were fancy.
Grateful for all of you.

Hi all-
  • Grateful for a sunny day and that the storms we got last night weren't too bad (prayers for those affected by tornados and other bad weather though)
  • Grateful for a minor house problem that I managed to get attended to before it became an even bigger one.
  • Grateful for my job, yes it's horribly stressful and triggering at times(which can lead to me thinking a drink is a good idea) but for now it pays the bills. And my coworkers are almost all great paper
  • As always grateful for this site.

Missed a few days of posting, but catching up on your posts this morning.
Grateful I am (mostly) working my way out of a funk. I got in a very negative state of mind a few days ago ... mostly grief, but also frustration at my volunteer role at my church. It's kind of a chaotic management environment, and I don't do chaos very well. I'm torn between quitting, and trying to use it as an opportunity to learn & let go of my need for things to be orderly and controlled.
Anyway, I'm grateful for camping ... I went to the beach Friday and camped, walked a lot, looked at birds, and that helped. Then came home and did a massive spring cleaning ... you know, moving the furniture to vacuum underneath, dusting ledges that you can't even see, taking a Q-tip to a couple little corners in furniture that collect dust. Control issues much? My house is really clean right now.
Grateful to be honest with myself that I have gotten fat in the last couple years. I don't worry too much about appearance, but I know it isn't good for my health and it also interferes with things I like to do, like hiking and walking. Time to turn honesty into action, somehow.
Grateful I'm getting into the dentist this morning to get my broken molar fixed. Note to self, stop eating popcorn.

Alpine - I love pot roast. Love that judgy pup, too.
Jack - I want to get some cactus too. I had one that bloomed after 10 yrs. once. A yellow blossom in the middle of the spines.
NL - Enjoy the visit. Hope they are fun & don't bring drama.
Fearless - I've tried to wean myself off the morning news too - it was making me so anxious.
Citrus! Happy to see you. Yes - grateful for Sakamoto. He was relatively young.
Tursiops - Volunteering at church should be an enjoyable experience, not something to bring you down. Don't blame you for considering letting it go. I need to do a deep cleaning too. Dread moving everything. Now, where did I put the Q-tips.?
Grateful for the inspiration I find here.
Grateful for a warm, sunny day.
Grateful all bills are paid for the month.
Grateful to be living my life with eyes wide open.
