Jealous of the rain, WaterOx though I know you Californians went a long time without it. Oh wait! I’m in the gratitude forum not the whine about lack of rain where I live forum

Grateful for this thread like always. Sometimes I think there’s no way it could possibly lift my spirits from where they are but it almost always does and today is no exception.
Grateful to have been able to call my grandparents while my grandmother is in the hospital and not worry about whether anyone could tell I was in my cups. (She struggles with stomach blockage but is already home I think).
Grateful that I don’t have to cover our legislative hearings today. Grateful that falls to my talented second-in-command.
Grateful to be flirting with the idea of coming home over lunch (for a nap).
Grateful I woke up before the 4:30 alarm even if I tossed and turn a good part of the night and now feel like a zombie.
Grateful for you.

Grateful for affordable health insurance. Already hit my deductible for the year, so anything else is 100% covered!

Grateful for another day sober.

Grateful for another hangover and guilt free morning, I love them.
Grateful Anaya's son has stayed on the path of recovery, wish I could say the same about my son.
Grateful my little g.son is eating well at the moment, he has put half a stone on over the last few months which is amazing as he was very undersized, he's 9.5 and is the size of an average 6 yr old.
Grateful to get the 3 g.children to school safely this morning.
Grateful to give my mum a lift into town.
Grateful to get my laundry done and pegged outside.
Grateful to play with my little fat cat.
Grateful for a healthy breakfast.
Grateful for good coffee.
Grateful not to query what my son just told me in a phone call, even though I know it was a blatant lie, I just responded with 'oh gosh.'
Grateful to post here and get things off my chest.
Grateful to you all for understanding.xx

Congrats Rusty! Grateful for your inspiration
Numblady, about your post yesterday morning, that is a lot to deal with regarding your son. Your work seems stressful too!
((Daisy)))
FBL, that is great I remember one year being on a deductible health plan and the same happened to me by April after a slu of unexpected medical issues with all three of us in my family. I even ended up with a hefty balance at the end of the year.
Grateful we all support each other through whatever life challenges we are facing, all of it sober
Grateful to be experiencing greater highs in sobriety than in drinking. Grateful that the lows are less intense and of shorter duration in sobriety.
Grateful for the ongoing discovery of my creative side. Grateful that I couldn’t draw a three dimensional object in middle school, and for the teacher who told me that I am not good at art. This has opened up my mind about what is art really, and many other things. People rejected Picasso at first too. Not that I put myself in that category. LOL
Grateful to be fairly caught up at work
