Happy Mother's Day to our dear UK friends. (Ours is in May)
Numblady - the mural sounds very cool.
Grateful for... - wait, no I am not grateful for the snow & cold temps. - but grateful that spring has to be here any day now.
Grateful I finally confronted my dental issues & took action.
Grateful the scale moved a bit.
Grateful for this gathering of like minded souls - you are wonderful.

Thank you Fearless, I didn't know about the different dates for Mother's day either until recently, I just presumed it was the same all round, but no, in Spain it's 5 May!

Grateful for a hangover free Monday morning.
Grateful to get my laundry washed and pegged out.
Grateful to deliver the g.children to their schools safely.
Grateful to give my mum a lift to town.
Grateful to see my little fat cat has found herself a 'den' under a shrub.
Grateful Fearless's son has a play date.
Grateful Hevyn went to the dentist, it will all be worth it.
Grateful and very excited that I am going to watch my g.daughter and live in g.son in a dress rehearsal for the Easter passion play this afternoon. My g.son is singing solo in it and I'm so proud. Going to need the kleenex I think.
Grateful for a coffee whilst I am posting.

Grateful to learn about the original Mothering Day. Thanks Caramel and others! I had no idea. All I could think was dang that’’s no fun to have the UK Mother’s Day on the same day as their time change, but now it all makes sense
Grateful for linguistic differences. Daisy, love hearing you mention pegging your laundry. Very cool!
Grateful for the almost glowing shade of green on new spring growth, contrasted with darker hues of older leaves and growth.
Grateful I stood up for myself and my workload (in a small way) this morning.
Grateful to be working toward a more authentic life every day.
Grateful for this group.

Grateful that even though I feel overwhelmed, I don’t drink anymore and am much more productive in my sober life

Ha ha Numblady, I love the linguistic differences too.
The passion play dress rehearsal was amazing, I never knew my little grandson could sing like he did, wow, I've had some of the kindest feedback from parents and teachers, I'm totally gobsmacked. My g.daughter was a dancer and she was very elegant and graceful. I'm feeling very blessed. I can't wait until this evening because I'm going to watch the actual performance. My wayward son is going too, or so he says, so God give me strength, I'll be saying the serenity prayer over and over in my head.
Grateful for all of the above.

Grateful my live in g.son didn't dawdle too much this morning.
Grateful to get dinner on the go in the slow cooker for later.
Grateful my mum is well.
Grateful to be meeting my oldest friend for lunch, we've been friends since we were 16 and now we're umm a lot older, lol.
Grateful that Least and Billie have such a kind friend.
Grateful for coffee this morning.

Aww Daisy that sounds so wonderful. Good luck with that serenity prayer and wayward son tonight. You’re a rock. He can’t affect you and you can’t change him or his choices. May you find all the strength you need, whether he shows up or not.
Grateful for the faith my work colleagues and superiors have in me.
Grateful I think I’ve figured out child care for tonight while I’m stuck at capitol.
Grateful my son is friends with a child in school who seems to not have other friends and is in one of the classrooms for children with special needs. His compassion when describing some of the “problem” students at school is moving. He told his sister not to judge a girl who is angry all the time and runs away from teachers over and over because her brain is different.
Grateful for the chance to not be driven by ego in my thoughts and deeds—today and every day.
