Grateful to be sober.

Grateful to have had a nice dinner with old childhood/family friends who were in town last night.

Grateful to have gotten out of the house yesterday after being sick. I was like a puppy, ridiculously and visibly excited just to see people after a week of homebound isolation.

Hevyn, my weight loss is slow going too, but at least this week its going in the right direction. Oh and I love dollar stores too, or pound shops as we call them here in the U.K.
I hope the infusion goes well Aly. x

Grateful to be up early, no hangover, no guilt and no brain fog.
Grateful for this quiet time to myself.
Grateful for a good, strong cup of tea.
Grateful for this little fat cat purring like a steam engine beside me.
Grateful to watch the birds outside collecting 'stuff' to build nests with.
Grateful for my fire, it's a bit chilly yet.
Grateful to you all for being part of my journey. x

Grateful for laughter

Grateful to earn a paycheck, and though it's far from my dream job, I'm grateful for the chance to do something about it.

Grateful to be here with you all....and coffee

Wow FBL!! Congrats on 9,9!

Grateful to be employed and to feel needed and productive.
Grateful for the realization that for all the things I love about my job and work family, this role is too demanding and involves too many trade offs to my quality of life that I need to make a change. I’ve given myself until the end of the year to figure it out though.
Grateful for the bonding that occurs with your colleagues/work family when you are stuck at the capitol for eleven hours together.
Grateful to have no meetings and be able to dilly dally at home a bit with no children under foot.
Grateful to have slept in.
Grateful the coffee was already made when I got up.
Grateful for each and every one of you.

So grateful to come here and read your posts this morning before the day got away from me. I woke up in a funk after some disappointing things last night. Things were ok by bed time but I did and still have an unsettled feeling. Grateful to realize that this feeling of projecting fears about the past i to the future is is unhealthy and I need to get back to today, to one day at a time. Grateful for the release that sober crying brings. Grateful to accespt that some things may improve just a little or not at all, and it will still be ok. Grateful to laugh a little bit over the ridiculously silly things that can get me down because it’s really nothing in the big scheme of things. Grateful to honor my experience, at the same time. Grateful for self compassion. Grateful your happy moods are rubbing off on me..
Grateful to be there for my son when he gets so sad, to be able to console him
Grateful it’s Friday
Grateful to have dinner plans with a sober friend tonight
Congrats FBL for 9 years, 9 months! That is inspiring!
Numblady, good for you for thinking about change. I went through a similar experience 10 years ago, made the best career change of my life and never looked back. It’s interesting to remember that part of that time was heavy drinking (not because of work stress). But I did get through it and thank goodness I didn’t lose what could have been lost from drinking. Grateful for the perks of this job

Grateful for everyone here. You help me so much!

Daisy - Pound Shops-of course. I love to leave there with 2 full bags, having spent very few £'s.
Fearless - Grateful for your first paragraph - I share many of those thoughts.
Grateful for Tinkerbeau's 9th day & FBL's 9 yrs. 9 mos.
Grateful - sort of - for the beautiful, heavy snow falling all around me.
Grateful for people who understand me.
Grateful to know I'll never let myself down again.
