I may have to try that, although I've never really cared for the sweetness of baked beans and I've never tried Marmite, only heard of it as something people on MAOI antidepressant can't eat. Glad you appreciate my fellow Southerner, Dolly.

Grateful for saying yes to my ex and his sister's invite to go to the farmer's market. I had been avoiding them for a bit, but I had an attitude adjustment and I'm really glad for it. We had an amazing Vietnamese/Thai lunch. It reminded me of the Acceptance story in the AA Big Book, how much people seem to change when I change my attitude towards them!

And grateful for cicadas and their summer song.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful I haven't smoked in several months. Grateful it gets easier and grateful I know the cravings pass and won't last forever.

Grateful to be sober another day. Although I had a weird drug dream. Grateful it was just a dream.

Grateful for a quiet night and I get to watch Masterpiece Mystery provided I can stay awake.

Grateful to forgive myself about not being able to live up to my own expectations recently. Before I form resentments against myself!

Grateful for an invite for daytime and another invite for evening on my actual birthday this week.

Grateful to try some EFT tapping on some stuck feelings I have been blocking. I have been "feeling" very disconnected recently though I think some of it is just allergies.

Grateful to just observe some changes in my tastes lately and wait to see what happens.

Grateful for Buddhism, which I discovered many years ago, but has been a really big help to me this past week. I'm not a Buddhist, but they teach some useful stuff.

Grateful that the doona cover I fell in love with six months ago was marked down 40% today. Woohoo!
Grateful for the sobriety that kept me patient to wait for the mid-year sales and gave me the money to splurge.
Grateful that our gratitude can be about great big concepts or little trivial wins.

Grateful that the blackcurrants are ripe, and I was able to pick some to have for breakfast this morning.

Grateful that I didn't procrastinate on some sticky tasks today, it will help tomorrow be much easier.

Grateful for a little wren who blessed our garden with his presence. Such a tiny bird who has an incredible song. How do they manage to sing so loudly with such tiny lungs?

You know, the two may be related. I thought I was having allergies several months ago, and when I processed some emotional "congestion," they miraculously evaporated!

Grateful for this quote from A Course in Miracles: "A sense of separation from God is the only lack you really need correct."

And grateful for...crap...I don't know where to begin. I have so much amazing stuff going on in my life right now...I'm just grateful, overwhelmingly grateful.

Well, I'll say one more thing. I'm grateful to know I'm an artist...and so is everyone else!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Well done Bubbles!

Grateful for a great long relaxing day with my friend at the beach and lots of good birthday wishes from friends and family. Today was one of the nicest most relaxing birthday times I have had in a really long time. And no alcohol.

Really grateful she drove all this way to spend the day. A true friend.

Grateful for my dog behaving better and feeling better and grateful for a call from my vet just to check on how the dog was doing. : )

Grateful for some good ideas from my girlfriend of things I can try in order to meet people in my new town while gathering for another purpose besides meeting people. Lol I will trick my social phobia!

Grateful I have been reminded how wonderful classical music is.

Grateful for HOT weather. No one has AC here, and there are many complaints. I grew up in Florida. Bring it on!!

Grateful for my sweet kitty who is getting old and is having some health issues. I love her.

I'm grateful for my therapist, who I saw today. She's the best therapist I've ever had and she goes above and beyond to help me out with stuff.
