Grateful I can say no, and not dwell on the results.

Thank you, Eddie for an important reminder for me...to not should on myself. Been doing that lately...and WW...be calm and do the next right thing...

Grateful for reminders from friends that help me.

Grateful to be sober today so that I can do all I "should."..lol.

on anouncments at sponce's HG tonight,

i shared about the women found dead over the weekend with a bottle of vodka by her side,

that was coming to my HG

a newb asked for a ride home, i gave him a lift,

on the way, he said

"i'm so happy to hear what you said about that women,

not that she's gone, about the vodka,

as my wife and children are away, and thats how i wound up in the rooms,

by being found unconscious with a bottle of vodka by my side"

grateful for those god shot moments

Wow grats for tonight's grats, soul deep.
Grateful I said yes! And sure! To a friends request. I'm going to trust it's going to work out ok even though I'm not sure how yet; a good nights sleep will help sort it out.
Trusting and letting go is less work than holding on and worrying.
Thank u and good nite kind gratters.

Grateful to have added a few goals in my life.
Grateful to have traded in wishful thinking for actual plans.
Grateful I no longer limit myself in thought and dreams.

Have a good night, all....

Grateful to read everyone else's grats, jogs my memory when I sometimes "forget" about things to be grateful for.

Astro, I really can appreciate and am grateful for your grat that impacts me personally....I have a problem saying no and resent the heck out of it, and if I do say no I worry incessantly about the repercussions of how someone perceives me.

Grateful again for my amazing support system here in my life...family, friends, and SR. Love that I have people that I can turn to when I feel really dark.

Grateful I'm laying in bed posting on SR...such a change from three weeks ago. I'm a lot happier and feel a lot more hope.

G'night you amazing people.

Amazing, isn't it? I've found it key in my recovery. I started this thread at least six years ago, was gone for a while, but it has really helped me both to see that it continues and to be a part of it again.

So...grateful tonight that I finally got out of the house again and spent some time with friends. I was starting to get pretty lonely which usually makes me hungry and that's not a good thing for me.

Also grateful that my mom called this afternoon gushing about the haircut I gave her this morning. I think I'm pretty good at it considering I'm a totally untrained nonprofessional and it's nice to get compliments.

Sweet dreams, y'all!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

P.S. IO, you're very welcome!

Grateful to have met you folks.

Grateful for all the opportunities that have fallen in my path; many which were passed over because of my alcoholism, but more so for those that I managed to grab in sobriety.
Grateful for all the people who gave me a break when I needed it the most.
Grateful I DID learn through the school of hard knocks.
Grateful for all successes and abundantly grateful for my failures - they were critical to my growth.
Grateful for all the wise mentors who helped me on the path.

Grateful for a long bucket list.

Grateful for sr. Grateful to feel comfortable sober at a party tonight even when I got a comment about not drinking. It is amazing what changes can happen with time, support, and taking effort to understand all this stuff we talk about when we talk recovery. Night!

Grateful for all of the tiny sparks of happiness throughout my day; my boys laughing,
my boss joking, the ability to crank rock and roll at my job.

Grateful to know so many are grateful and making it through and finding greater joys beyond the bottle.
