Astro, I will second that. Here in Houston we are BAKING in the heat, but at least we are not dealing with a hurricane.

Thanks so much, calico & Carol!! I'm in North Carolina, but far enough inland that we didn't have anything too noticeable here. Often, we get tornadoes here when there are hurricanes at the coast, but not today, thank heavens!! Certainly grateful for that.

Also grateful for a nice visit & game of Scrabble with a friend. She cooked burgers which made up for the fact that she beat me by over 70 points. teehee. And a third gratitude item, I am really grateful that after the third turn until the end of the game, I didn't ask about the score. I am learning to truly ENJOY PLAYING games today rather than stressing about who's winning and spoiling my fun. That's progress!
