Carol, I bet people on disability are on edge, too, huh? I suspect everything will work out, though. At least I hope so.

Thanks, Mida and Rachel! Spencer has had a lot of visiting today. My mother, brother, father, and soon-to-be ex-husband have all been here. He was hiding a lot of the time, but they all got to see him some, too.

Grateful for all that company throughout the day, celebrating my mom's birthday for lunch and having the almost-ex for supper & a movie.

And grateful for being really tired right now. Maybe I'll fall asleep faster and actually stay that way longer than I have been lately.

WTG Rachel! Yay for a whole week...that's huge!

Grateful tomorrow is Friday and we're getting together on the weekend for Mom's bday

Grateful for yummy cheese pizza and Starbucks cake pops for dinner

Grateful for getting a big report done at work

Grateful for the kindness of strangers and non-strangers alike...I read recently that kindness can't be overrated and being unkind creates unnecessary misery for all involved which IMHO is so true

Grateful to have a sense of serenity in my life

Nite all!

Grateful to be able to tell myself it is okay if I make big mistakes or my work isn't perfect and needs to be better. Still have a hard time believing it but it is amazing I can even try. Grateful to be sober and not participating in a belligerent argument tonight. Grateful to be alive.

I am grateful for my third day sober, inspite of a confrontation today. Normally if someone hurt my feelings it would be a reason to go home and get drunk. Instead, I kept busy and had a very productive day...not a drunk day.

Great job Aidadeb, keep stacking 'em up!

Grateful for my first concert tonight, and that it was enjoyed sober and aware.
Grateful for my wonderful husband who always is there when I need him.
Grateful that I can be there for him too now. It really does make me smile.

G'night friends, and sweet dreams.

Grateful that, although I spent all day yesterday in the ER with my mama, it wasn't a kidney stone...just back spasms. Grateful to have another day with her...she is almsot 87, and I cherish her. Grateful her pain meds are making her comfortable today.

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to check in to let you know that I am grateful for the vacation I am having. Very relaxing. I don't/can't go on line often, but just wanted to check in.

Hope everyone is doing great.

Grateful to be sober for over one year and loving it. :-)

Rock and roll, May! Good job and good to hear from you.

Grateful tonight that even though I am anxious, depressed, and pretty pist off as well, I know that I do NOT have to do anything about it. I can just be anxious, depressed, and pretty pist off and it will pass. I did not know that before.

Also grateful for this silly little feline. He keeps me company AND keeps me entertained. Kittens are always so spastic. I love it.

I know they say you shouldn't go to bed angry, but I figure since I'm not going to bed WITH the people/person I'm angry with, it's OK. teehee. Wish me sweet dreams, y'all.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

LOL - me too!

Grateful for a quiet, no nonsense, ignoring big blowhards type of day.

Grateful my sobriety, serenity and well-being is no longer impacted by those who carry big sticks, big mouths and a false sense of superiority. If only they knew how they come across to others!

Grateful for an early evening and looking forward to a nice swim in the lake tomorrow morning, followed by some gardening around my home and a nice country barbecue with great friends and family.

Of course, the lopidor labrador will be there too - just hope he doesn't keep swimming so close he puts scratches in my back again - ouch!

Have a great night, all.....you too, Edward G....
