Bedtime gratitude---Part 25
That does sound so cool, Jamie!! Thanks for sharing with us.
Grateful tonight that I finally went through with selling my wedding and engagement rings. I needed the money and the rings were just reminders of another failed marriage, not to mention the mention the fact that I "outgrew" them (physically) years ago and hadn't been able to wear them anyway. It was kind of a shame, though, because the engagement ring was a garnet setting, my birthstone, and was custom-made for me. But overall, I'm glad I did it.
Also grateful that I went back to the caregiver support group at Senior Services this afternoon. Nice bunch of people and useful information and advice.
Have a lovely TGIF night, y'all!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for decent weather and a good long dog walk, which included a visit to a good friend and his dog. Grateful to share my steak with the dogs and grateful to see how happy that makes them. Grateful that my dogs are my permanent 'little kids' and my best friends.

RZ, I guess I got enough. It was not much compared to what we paid for them, though, just about a quarter of that, I think. And speaking of the sticks, I'm kicking ass on the fake Rock Band drums these days. Great coping tool.
Grateful for being able to tell someone on the phone meeting today that there is a face-to-face Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous meeting in her hometown and it turns out my long-distance ABA sponsor is one of the contact people. How cool is that?
Also grateful I got out and explored another of the local greenways some more. I was just on foot today, but I may have to take my skates, skateboard, or Razor scooter next time. It seems like a good place to re-learn skateboarding, which I'm not sure I can really do right now. What fun!!

I am grateful that despite the fact that I could not think of an alternative to using tonight. I prayed, surrendered, and came home from work to find a good friend online and chat for a couple of very productive hours for both of us, and then have an unexpected invitation to watch a movie from another friend.
When I said NO to using, alternatives made themselves available...thank you thank you thank you
