Bedtime gratitude-Part 19
Grateful - still, always - to have a warm safe place to sleep with my furry furnaces. So many do not have a safe warm place to sleep that it makes me grateful for the many things I used to take for granted. Learning how to be grateful is so good for me. I wasn't living before, only existing. I'm grateful indeed for the freedom sobriety brings.
Bit early for bed yet, but been too long (again) an Icouldn't hold this one -
So grateful. After three months of freelance writing and living off less than £10 a week to pay bills, food, travel, living etc and being cold and hungry and worried...I've got a job for tat least he next two months! Grateful for you guys on here, my mates out there *points out the window and my new manager who just threw me a life line...tonight I get to put the heating on, cook a real meal and go to bed without dreading the bills arriving tomorrow morning. What more could anyone want

Grateful for the shops / markets in London. Sounds trivial, I know...but I had to trapse the city on foot in the rain with £20 for work clothes - ...Five hours later, two blouses (£2.50 each), one pair of trousers (£9) and a pair of leather work flats (£6)...exactly £20!
Grateful to be home, out the rain and for all y'alls support too!

Grateful for a roof that doesn't leak. (it used to leak badly)
Grateful for the company of these wonderful dogs.
Grateful to be sober today and not want to drink, despite bad anxiety earlier. Grateful that it's mostly gone now and feeling calmer. The dogs helped a lot.

grateful to herby,
the old black man at the box warehouse,
somehow, whatever i said today,
touched him,
he said,
i'm grateful for our conversation today son
come to find out, he's a retired deacon.
until then herby

Grateful for a nice evening with my beautiful bride. A CoDA meeting together, anniversary dinner at the restaurant we were married at last year, then caught the last half of daughter's softball game. Perfect!
holy crap, it's been a year already astro!
Happy Anny The Astros!
grateful for a full day,
grateful for the big hug from a friend in rehabs bride tonight.
and very grateful the two of them were a huge part of my early recovery.

Grateful for a productive day, earned some money, and the gift of extra money in the mail. Grateful that the dog running loose just now didn't harm my dogs, just scared them. Grateful to be who I am today: a sober happy contented person who can take what life throws at me and either catch it or just get out of the way!
