Grateful today for lunch with my brother who I haven't seen for months, grateful that I didn't drink and very grateful for time spent sharing on SR.

Oh, and grateful the branch that fell on my car in the wind wasn't any bigger

Grateful for a peaceful warm sunny day. Grateful for a good (as always) session with my counselor. Grateful that she always has something positive and encouraging to tell me. Grateful to know in my heart that altho I'll always be an alcoholic, I don't have to be a drunk.

Grateful that I can now walk into places, meetings, stores, etc. with confidence and and with a cheerful personality. Just love the new me!

Today I am grateful for my good health, my husbands love and understanding, my son's sobriety and success at his new job. But most of all I am grateful to GOD. He's given me the strength to handle what I thought was going to kill me. It made me stronger.

Today I am grateful for my car problems. The mechanic couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car, and changed the water pump for $250.00 The next day the car had the same problem so I brought it back to him, and he changed the thermostat today for $150.00. So, $400 later, I'm hoping that the car is fixed. The good news is, my husband decided to get rid of the 04 Lincoln LS and get me a Lexus. I'm really grateful for my car troubles.
