Join me in 30 Days of Gratitude...
Loving the "Night Prayer" that Ann shared here. So comforting. The photo is awesome as well.
I am grateful to have the ability to calmly and rationally assess my situation and to make positive decisions -- promising myself to follow through and to keep moving forward; whereas, in the past, (mostly before I joined SR), I was like a dog chasing its tail, going around and around; not a productive pursuit, lol!

PJ, your brain has brought you through the worst of times and landed you smack dab in the middle of today...where you thrive and survive! Yay, PJ's brain.
I am grateful for a day that isn't filled with rain so that I can go watch my osprey babies and stop for a strawberry ice cream cone at the best ice cream place this side of the equator!

Me three, my great nieces and nephews are an endless source of entertainment and I just love them each so much.
I am grateful to be so close to my family and that the children haven't yet tired of their Auntie Ann.

I am grateful for summer and all that summer brings. Hope you don't mind but I thought thus Mary Oliver poem is perfect for describing the loveliest time of the year.
The Summer Day
~Mary Oliver
Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
Who made the grasshopper?
This grasshopper, I mean—
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down—
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.
I don’t know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?
