Grateful for faith, hope, and love.
Grateful to have spent some "quality time" with my mom yesterday.
Grateful to keep my chin up and eyes open -- the stuff will be hitting the fan soon at my jobsite, once coworker is gone and we have to take over her work. Here we go again, lol.

LMN, my heart did a dance and wouldn't slow down but now it is fine. It was a fluke and should never happen again...and it is being monitored for a while just to make sure.

Today I am grateful for our dentist, we are way overdue for our checkups and did not get a lecture and will be in and out quickly I think.

And I am grateful for all our dear friends here who share the light and joy.

(((Ann))) I am so grateful it wasn't anything more serious. Now please stop scaring me. You know I don't like it when I have no control of things.

I am grateful Ann is home in her own bed with her loving husband.

I am grateful for PJ's healing brain, his art and his humour and most of all for his friendship.

Grateful for all my friends here, and for Bubba who actually likes grocery shopping without me...yay!

Also grateful for August tomorrow, cool nights and less humid days here.

Grateful for a holiday Monday here, even though I am retired, I love the festivities and ice cream...lots and lots of ice cream.

Grateful for ice cream.

I am grateful that PJ's sons have opened their hearts and are ready for an adult relationship. Well done, PJ.

I am grateful today for the nature and beauty that surrounds me, no matter where I drive, my breath is taken away by the scenery along the way.

I am also grateful for the little deer who managed to just make it across the road in time to be safe. He jumped a fence and was right in front of us but, luckily, kept running and arrived safely to the other side.

There is another, fabulous job out there for you somewhere. I hope you are feeling better! Go get 'em!
When I read this I thought...oh how I wish I could be this lucky.

Well, on Friday, the company "pet" and a huge troublemaker gave her notice! The higher ups are not happy, lol.

The interesting thing is.....she is very likable on the surface. BUT, by her own admission, she has been a real snitch. She recently told me how she went to the big boss about many of our coworkers and felt justified in doing so. These coworkers are not even in our department and have their own bosses, some being managers themselves. I have no doubt I was also complained about too. In fact, I know I was....she told me that I was disruptive in the beginning because I asked too many questions. This is while I was new and wasn't receiving any training.

For some reason, she has really been trying to buddy up with me lately. I just need to keep my distance and wait her time out. I don't think she will leave quietly.

I am grateful for this new development. I am hoping it becomes a positive change in the workplace.

LMN, don't kid yourself, the higher-ups could probably see right through her. People like her put down others because of their own lack of self-esteem. Good luck to her...bye bye!!

I am grateful for my niece and her family and for Bubba for giving them all his fishing gear and teaching my great nephew (and his dad) how to fish, at their cottage today. Nothing melts my heart like a kid fishing...and then fretting and insisting they throw it back before it dies!!

Hawkeye, I do love a full moon. There is something magical and wonderful about each one.

I am grateful to be heading to Vancouver Island again for a 2 week vacation of visiting my niece and her family (but staying at a hotel so we each have lots of space) and whale watching and the salmon spawn and bears it brings. Life doesn't get better than this.

Hope you have a wonderful vacation, Ann.

I am grateful that I brought my work laptop home, woke up early, and got a lot accomplished. I am grateful that I am caught up and am now ahead of schedule.
