Join me in 30 Days of Gratitude...
So grateful for the most delicious tomatoes that I actually grew.
My cherry tomatoes are doing really well too. Funny story, I was watching all these youtubes and decided I had early blight. (I am a beginner, lol) So I cut off A LOT of leaves and branches. Suddenly, I looked and noticed I had Charlie Brown's tomato plant. It was so sad and pathetic looking, my friends laughed and thought it would die for sure. It's now over 5' and producing a lot delicious tomatoes. Next year, I will mulch the top of the soil and maybe stop self diagnosing.

Today, I am grateful to be alive and am energized and hopeful. It has been quite a journey these past many years.
I will continue to believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel, to not give up, to always keep moving forward.
I am grateful all seem to be doing well in my family and especially that my mom and MIL are forging ahead, are strong, who are much loved.

I love that Ann. I am so thankful that my friend is having a wonderful time at her family reunion. They rented a multimillion dollar home and the pictures are stunning. I am glad I can live vicariously though her, lol.
Awww, PJ, I love you too. I am grateful for PJ's blue support whales and accordian pants...the very mental image brings me to guffah and snorkle.
I am grateful for snazzy turban wraps, wigs covered by a health plan and hats that make statements (other than "this chick is bald")
Also grateful that my baldness is a result of my good medication and not of my disease which will be eradicated and kicked to the curb shortly.

Oh I am definitely grateful for granny pants, those comfy cotton roomy warmers that always stay exactly where they are supposed to stay.
I am grateful for perfect days, sunny and warm and ospreys beginning to fledge.
Life is good.

Grateful to all who frequent this thread.
Grateful for Ann's wonderful sense of humor. I am also loving the cottage by the water avatar and, in a way, wishing I could be there --- no kidding, really and truly. I sometimes dream of being able to "escape" to such a place. I know I could "rent" something like that for a weekend somewhere in the state in which I live in the USA (we have a beautiful state, plenty of parks, plenty of water, plenty of places to escape) but usually make excuses because of other commitments.

Anaya, there is nothing like a little cottage on a cool lake to lift our spirits. Sunrise and sunset take on new meanings when the loons call over the water. Please treat yourself to at least a short stay, you soooo deserve the peace and quietude.
PJ, the miracle of love brought your son to connect with you again and I am so darn happy for you and proud of all you have done to earn his trust.
LMN, my mother used to call underwear "dainties". She would hang the dainties on a special clothes line between other lines, so the neighbours didn't see them. Me? My granny pants can flap in the wind like a 4th of July flag and I would expect the neighbours to salute as they passed.
I am grateful for everyone here who makes me laugh and who remind me of how much I have to be grateful for. Today I am grateful to have a husband who likes grocery shopping and always manages to bring home some special treats that weren't on the list.
It's the little things, yes?
