Grateful for an "almost" spring day, good for a drive through the country to head for my brother's for dinner.

Grateful for my friends here who inspire me to remember to begin the day with gratitude.

Hawkeye, I saw the most beautiful red tailed hawk last week and thought of you.

I am grateful this morning for a pair of robins who are building a nest right outside my window, an awesome sight and I can watch for eggs and babies and spring unfolds.

Hello....I am back from the being so sick. I had a sinus infection, double ear infection, fever and sore throat. I missed 4 days of work and I am fairly new there. My supervisor is not being very understanding. I was so sick, my neighbor took me to the doctors. For that, I am grateful for such caring friends.

I do not look forward to going back to work tomorrow. I like my job but do not like my immediate supervisor but I do like the "big" boss. I have allowed this supervisor to treat me poorly. She causes me so much anxiety when I need her help. Eye rolls, long sighs, obvious frustration, etc. I do not do well with anxiety.

So, I am going to find my voice this week. I know I can't change her but I can change how I allow people to treat me. Oh and there is a clique of 3 woman that my supervisor is in which really makes me feel ganged up on.

Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you!

Yes, Grasshopper!!! Find that voice and say what needs saying. The greatest gift of recovery, for me, was to be able to stand for my values and what I believed...even when I had to stand alone.

We're standing with you, I have my steel toed bunny slippers ready and can give them a good shinning if need be.

I am grateful for rain today, to wash away the snow and bring spring flowers. It will keep me indoors to catch up before I head out for a very busy week ahead.

Rain will bring worms for the robin who is nesting in the tree outside my window. Yay, rain.

Grateful for the magnolia tree blooming in the yard--hundreds of dark purple flowers with delicate petals like orchids.

I am grateful for living in nature and watching nests being build and spring unfolding.

I am also grateful for whales, but can't get them to swim from the ocean through the Great Lake system and up the river to my place...dang those whales anyway.

I am so glad you are feeling better and hope you stay well.

I agree with "...I can change how I allow people to treat me." I am working on that as well, at work and at home. So, it can be very challenging, but I am not giving up.

Hugs to you with lots of support to get through this, to know that you are not alone, and wishing you confidence in setting and keeping your boundaries.

Stay well, friend.

Me too, Hawkeye. Big thanks to LMN for starting it.

Today I am grateful that the osprey have all returned to their nests around here, the blue heron and dancing and finding mates, the wild turkeys are strutting with fans unfolded and spring is truly in the air!! This is Canada, spring does not come early here so extra grateful today.

To quote Ann, "Grateful today for rain to make the flowers grow. "

Oh yes, I agree!

Where I live, the forecast is for rainy weather all week long...

"April showers bring May flowers," something I remember from many, many years ago as an elementary school student.
