Join me in 30 Days of Gratitude...
I am grateful for the rain today that led me to go somewhere I would not have gone on a sunny day and meet someone who needed to cross my path, and as we parted I said "I'm not sure what that was all about God, but nice work!".
Grateful for this article (link follows) that I came across this morning; I continue to acknowledge that, at times, I must put self-care as my priority.

I am so very grateful for my 3 year old great niece and just turned 6 year old great nephew, for making me laugh with their perspective of life and who bring pure joy to the room whenever they appear. It was the 6 year old's birthday today and Aunt Ann had so much fun with them all at our special lunch.
And grateful that I got a reprieve from the kids party yesterday...9 children in one room make me twitch...bless their hearts.

I'm grateful that my recovering son celebrated another birthday!!
I'm grateful for my coworker who brought in bagels this morning, when I was really really hunger because I'd skipped breakfast at home because I was running late.

I am grateful I had a busy weekend and got so much done. Car fixed and washed, clothes cleaned out, house cleaned, laundry done, 2 cute dresses, and FaceTime with my Goldchild and her little girl. That is always so much fun.
So happy for you folks -- to hear of the good news you're sharing in this forum.
Grateful to be a member of this site. It means so much to be part of the community.
Grateful family is doing a-ok; at the very least, all seem to be dealing with their own "stuff." Sometimes we fall short in supporting each other fall short in being kind and honest...my lamentation for the day. I know I have no business in other peoples' business, I need to focus on mine and what I can control. Anyway...I truly give thanks to God for being there for all of us during tough times.

I love sunflowers too, very pretty Anaya!
And well done, LMN, on the certification AND the new dress!
I am grateful for a "me" day of hair appointment, cleaning wonder woman, lunch out and take out cheap Greek for dinner. It's been and will continue to be a busy week, so taking a "me" day just makes it all okay.

For my new spanner doctor (as I am 'nuts')- my ACT psychologist, who usually suffers in silence whilst I get out reems (reams?) of notes, art works and conclusive goals and statements.
For slowly, but surely getting stronger every day(painfully slow)- after 2 hand op's and all the stuff in my head.

I am grateful for this unfinished house I'm sitting in that my spouse and I built, and are building, and will build.
It has been my solid and wonderful home for nearly two decades now.
It was a dream made real that I get to keep dreaming about.
I guess the word I want isn't "unfinished" so much as "evolving". . .

Grateful for time out to share thoughts here; as well to take in and appreciate what others express.
Grateful for Thursday - as I've noticed, some folks do the "throwback Thursday" thing, so here's my throwback for today (and that is not me in the photo, lol). I remember these cutie outfits but never actually wore the getup shown:

Grateful that I get to spend the day with my eldest daughter on a 6 hour road trip to visit with my parents (her grandparents). First time we've been together since she got married 6 months ago and it will be the first time she has been able to see her grandparents in.about two years.
….grateful for- although bittersweet- memories of happy times with my ex, sons and even some from my family of origin.
- for the awareness that the true meaning of forgiveness- is to do so - to the past, will allow me to 'let go' of all the crap in my heart- and heal little more.
- for my car...my 4 wheel ticket to freedom....plus the extremely good sound system in it.

I am grateful for good family, and good support for when I need it.
Also grateful for solar lights that will make my garden pretty when I plant it about 3 weeks from now...this is Canada, you don't plant before May 24 without risking frost.
